"Worst place to live ever horrible management and these places are so full of mold and mildew it's not even funny they are falling apart, Just a update on what happened after the show called inspection we were supposed to have first off she didn't even have balls enough to show up secondly she served us with a 30-day notice because my oxygen supplies were still in the apartment so yeah they're retaliating against me being ill so if you know anyone that is ill and looking for a place to move especially over the age of 50 Make sure they don't move here Make sure they move anywhere other than here this place is horrible you can't get a hold of anybody that actually owns it you can't find out any information about the person that actually owns it anywhere on the internet I think it's owned by some company in Iran or Iraq or something because you can't find any information not even through the BBB about it hired an attorney just waiting to hear back from them"
"I have a mixed review... If I ever have to contact the main office, the staff is super courteous and nice. They are attentive. I usually have no issues getting things addressed. However, I do find that there are certain maintenance issues that are not addressed or take a long time to be addressed. I've never managed an apartment building, so Im not judging the time frames... maybe things just take a long time to be fixed?"
"Since I can’t get anyone to address my concerns, I figured I should make others aware of what they are getting into before they think about moving here. I lived here from 2014 until 2016, and again from 2019 to present. Between 14 and 16 my husband and I had no issues. The manager was rude but things got fixed, and they were fixed in a timely manner. I never had to wait longer than 3 or 4 days for my maintenance concerns to be addressed..fast forward to 19 to present, NOTHING is fixed in a timely fashion. In 2019 when we moved into a new building, our dishwasher broke shortly after moving in. After numerous requests to have it fixed, it was finally fixed in the beginning of October 2020. Their idea of fixing it was giving us another used washer that broke two days after they installed it…and that took forever to get replaced too. In October of 2019, our sliding screen broke, along with the threshold. The door was not fixed until summer 2020, and the threshold was not fixed until just a few weeks ago. Their idea of fixing it was taking the old broken one and just laying it where it should go, not drilled or stabilized whatsoever. The day I was notified it was “fixed” it popped right out while opening the door. I contacted management and then maintenance contacted me. I explained that it was not replaced or secured at all and I wanted it drilled in place. I was told they couldn’t do that, but could glue it. They glued it, and told me to let it sit for 24 hours. 4 days later, it popped out again while opening the door. I ended up using gorilla glue myself to glue it back in. In Feb of this year (2021) we had a big leak in our ceiling in the living room and spare room. There was also damage to the wall as well because of the water coming in. My requests to have it fixed were canceled via their web portal, and it did not get fixed until the middle of JUNE after making a visit to the main office and asking for an address to notify the property owner that I was putting my rent in escrow. I had a broken closet door that I reported in 2019, it was not fixed until 2020. Now my fridge is on the fritz. I reported this on September 4th 2021, and again on September 27th because it has not been addressed. They have marked my request from the 4th and completed, and canceled the one on the 27th. I made ANOTHER service request on September 29th, received a TEXT from the manager the following morning asking if maintenance could come that day. I was sick that day and on top of that, my husband was rushed to the ER that morning. I told her that it was not a good day, and asked if maintenance could come the following day. I was told they were going to notify maintenance and they would be in touch. But, I have yet to hear back. I’ve had to throw away so much food because it keeps freezing. It has now been over a month since I have submitted the initial request to have my fridge serviced. When I used their online portal to pay my rent for September, I noticed my rent had increased by fifty dollars, but I was never notified. I contacted the main office, and I was told that they sent a letter about the rent increase, but because I didn’t receive it, I would be credited for the month of October, and the rent increase would go into effect on November 1st. I was told I would receive a letter of confirmation. I got the letter, and saw that when they initially sent it, they sent it to the wrong address. I know this because there was a label attached to the envelope from the post office, stating it could not be delivered because there was no such address. In September (2021) we were notified via note on our door that they were black topping the parking lot and we would not be able to use it for 7 days…which turned into almost three weeks. Maintenance is never done and now with the rent increase, I am paying $580 to live in a dump. I know rent goes up everywhere but I think it’s horrible to jack up rent prices when they cannot/WILL NOT fix anything! It’s very frustrating!!"
"I've lived here for 10 years and it's hell. DON'T MOVE HERE. The 1st set of landlords I had when I 1st moved in here were great. The next one was a drunk that always got incarcerated and the landlords that are here currently are snakes and more drunks. Idk where United Properties Mgmt manages to scrape up the people for landlords but they sure can find them! THEY WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING. I have broken things and it don't take 4 years to fix. I have pictures to prove. They jacked rent up. I have broken closet doors, a screwed up front screen door that they have promised to fix. It's all lies. My disposal don't work, bathroom GFI trips and I've been shocked from sparked electricity. My water in my bathroom trickles. This place is a death trap. They don't deserve any stars. The only good thing about them as that they would help you with rent but that's it."
"My ceiling started leaking and ended up coming down. So I had a hole in my ceiling for 5 months. They were great until something needs to be fixed. I put my rent in escrow and now they are trying to evict me. Horrible to treat Tenets like this."
