"If I can rate as negative I will !!!STAY AWAY from this apartment complex. There are tons of bug surprising you everyday!!!!! Informed the office there are bugs and stove no working on the first week after I moved in but no reply until TODAY. CANNOT sleep well at all because all these bugs!!! Lack of sleep, lately needs to visiting the doctor because keep worried about being bite and see bugs from my apartment everyday. And last Friday before Labor Day weekend, found of there are bedbug in my apartment after I got up which I just moved in here(bought my mattress few months ago and have been using it before I moved in and nothing really happen before.) Sent an email to the office right after I saw the bite. No reply, keep calling until 2pm, no one answer. Walk in to the office turn out they close???? On Friday?? Still count it as business day okay???? Still No one contact me about it. NOT RECOMMEND anyone live here!!!!!!!!! Unless u want a poor management apartment complex or to pay extra bill for visiting a doctor!!!!!"

"I have lived at Brook Run for almost 8 years, and I couldn't be happier! The management we currently have immediately gets things done and quick with communication. The maintenance here is just as great. They all keep you updated when waiting on any servicing and sincere about getting any needs cared for. We were so excited they took the time to open the pool this summer, even though late in the year. The 2 bedroom apartments are really good size! The parking is easily accessible too. Management ensures that the tenants have the best spots. It would be a hard decision to ever want to move!"

"We applied (for a fee) and we called everyday for a week asking about our place in the application process, they gave us false hope everyday saying we are waiting on previous landlords to fax over information. When I called my previous landlord, they said Brook Run has not attempted to get a hold of us by email or phone. I was called 8 days after putting in the application saying that I had “missed a window” and that my old landlord hadn’t sent them the information they needed, when in fact, they never received anything from Brook Run. If you are going to apply, DON’T, you are just going to waste your money and be lied to."

"Our experience from the start was awful. When we went in to ask about pets we were told that small dogs were allowed. We EXPLICITLY said we had a small dog multiple times with the response that she was allowed. Two weeks after we moved in we were given a notice that we had to get rid of our dog or be evicted, all the while another tenant below us had a large golden retriever who barked 24/7. When we confronted our landlord about it she denied ever saying dogs were allowed. We gave her a detailed list of at least 9 other tenants with dogs and we were given excuses or flat out denial. Maintenance would regularly check apartments for damage but they were required, BY THEIR OWN CONTRACT, to give 24 hour prior notice. We were never given notice. We've come home to a maintenance worker walking out of our apartment without notice, walking in using a master key without notice, and even walking into my room, WHILE ASLEEP, without consent!!!!!!! Nothing we said did anything, nor did contacting the owners of Brook Run. They are awful to their tenants, let wild teenagers roam without check and damaging cars, and do not follow through with ethical practices stated in their own regulations. We finally left after our lease was up and we will NEVER rent from there again!"
