"I’m a current tenant and unfortunately I’m facing the same problem with the heat for four months now and specially during the winter and this is supposed to consider as an emergency and every Time they come and fix it but unfortunately is not fixed and I’m having a six month baby girl my daughter she got sick twice out of the four times the heat got disconnected. I’ve tried to call the management many times, but no one is helping me fix this problem. I’m paying my rent on time never late on it. My experience with the maintenance in this compound is very bad. I don’t recommend it for anyone else to live in it or deal with the management."

"Be extra careful while dealing with the management people. Get everything in writing, or else they will do anything to retain your deposit. I was charged an extra 2 days' rent even though i returned the key on the last day of the month. When i submitted my move out notice, i was told that if i submit the keys on the last day, i won't be charged. Outdated rooms. The doors are painted over and over and won't close. Floors creak. HVAC is a joke. During summer, the top floor is burning hot even with full AC running. The front door leaks water inside when there is heavy rain. You can see all kinds of bugs inside even though the doors and windows are closed. The only good thing is the proximity to amenities nearby. Hence, one extra star."

"My apartment is great space wise but.....the maintenance is sluggish...been waiting over 3 months for electrical repairs. Every time I call I get staffing issues and emergency calls but we will get to you by this day or asap.....well many of those days have passed and still waiting.....not to mention the fences thay were supposed to be done 2 yeqrs ago. How are so many people looking for jobs but they are short staffed....They have also taken away resident use of the clubhouse"

"It was a nice area to live in. Living near all the stores and shopping made it cost efficient as far as gasoline prices go. Almost all of the people living there are nice, with the only exception of neighbors who lack prudence and threw parties taking up other tenants parking spots, having get together at all times a night/morning, or failing to clean up after their dogs. You cannot really escape that at any apartment, but the maintenance department is lacking. Unfortunately Chatham had many issues timely repairing problems, and the complex is not well built. We left our townhome in really good condition minus minor wall repair and they kept more than half of our security deposit. Be aware that you can do right and it will not matter…"
