"Absolutely disgusting place, and that's not an exaggeration. I obviously don't expect Red Roof to be a 5-star experience, but I've never had a problem with any other locations being dirty. We paid $83 for something we didn't get. I asked for a smoke-free room and despite the door to the room literally saying "100% smoke-free" we were hit with a blast of cigarette smoke as soon as we opened the door. I immediately spotted bugs crawling on the chair and floor. They were also in the tub and, disgustingly, in the toilet. There were little holes all over the ceiling and cigarette burns in the sheets. The pillows were also the flattest I've ever seen. We got up extra early to get out of there because it was such a gross feeling just to be in the room. Even after washing my clothes from the trip, I could still smell the smoke on them. The person in the office when we left couldn't figure out why we were put in that room in the first place so it sounds like they knew the room was unacceptable, but they couldn't do anything about it. The night we checked in there was apparently some disturbance in one building (A) so I guess that's why we were put in the other building (B). Not the best thing to hear when you're checking into a hotel. They also said it was the only room available but I highly doubt that hotel was full. When I tried calling the following week to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for a full 20 minutes without an update and never did speak to anyone. And a complete side note, but a safe fee? Really? I didn't ask for or need a safe and I certainly didn't want to be charged for it."
"First room door wouldn’t open. Second room took significant effort to get open. Front desk person was distracted and unhelpful. Parking lot was loud and had people all hours of the night yelling and making noise. Room was disgusting, sheets were awful. I would more readily recommend someone just sleep in their car"
"Clean rooms. Staff is very helpful. When I needed assistance the manager did not hesitate she was very helpful and very fast to assist me. Front desk staff are always have a smile and very friendly. Coffee and tea has been in lobby every time I was in it."
"Desk clerk was not tentative to guest, sat at desk eating a meal while handling money and credit card. Also when we entered our room it had not been cleaned by previous guest. There was trash everywhere and no bedding, needless to say we didn't even enter the room. Went back to the office and was treated rudely ( we interrupted clerks meal time). We did get another room. It was cleaner but no fridge that we were told was included in our $70 + cost of the rm. The bed was not on the frame correctly. When I (@ 120lbs) sat on the side the bowstring and mattress flipped up and I ended on the floor. We adjusted the bed ourselves. The bed spread looked as if it hadn't been washed in months, so off it came. The sheets were clean. I travel a lot and always stay at pet friendly RedRoof. I am still in shock of how this 1 place does not stand up to Red Roof standards. My recommendation is stay away!!!!"
"I stayed at this Red Roof Inn on two separate occasions a week apart. The first night, I got a room with a door that did not want to stay shut. The next week, a different room, different issues with the door, it was extremely hard to open. The air conditioning in both rooms did not work properly. The pillows were thin, and the second week, the room did not have an adequate amount of pillows. The rooms were clean. THE STAFF, however, were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and addressed any issues I had quickly and efficiently. The environment where the hotel was located seems to be adequately safe. The biggest issue I see with this hotel is that they do not have maintenance repair needed equipment."
