"Been living here for over a year. Filthy place dog feces trash in hallways. Not a nice place for decent place for a family to live. Items come up missing from my apartment w no signs of forced entry! Management sucks! I'm moving asap!!"

"I’d give it a Zero star if I could. I lived here for a year when I moved to the area as I could not find another option. When I first moved in the apartment was incredibly dirty including the bathroom being covered in urine from the previous tenants. During my time there we went 5 days without water. Apartment did not provide any other means to support or help. My next door neighbor had a flea infestation that was never addressed. My living room window was leaking water when it rained and it took them weeks to address it. The shared areas that the apartment is responsible for cleaning was never cleaned. After multiple conversations with the staff they only apologized. I would not recommend living here unless it’s between being homeless or living here."

"I have Lived here for 2 years. I live in the front building across the hall from the leasing office. Needless to say, I think they are great people. I never had problems with my neighbors. I Can say that I've had a rough patch in the last couple months. And the leasing management has worked with me. The only complaint I have as I wish they would get us a new water heater. But I am eternally grateful that I do have a place to live. It's not the Taj Mahal But coming from a person that was Homeless for four years it is my palace."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I have unfortunately had to live here too long. Since living here our central air has never worked. Maintenance come in your house whenever they want without a notice on the door and leave a mess when they're done. Since I've lived here we've dealt with cockroaches and fleas from other tenants. The hallways and laundry rooms are never clean. The cops show up at Genesis almost daily. Our electric and water bill is ridiculously high for a one bedroom/one bathroom apartment. We've had so many terrible neighbors who do things like slam doors constantly, get into domestic violence fights where it sounds like they're having a fight club at 1am, have ppl bang on their doors at 1 or 2am (probably for drugs), have had neighbors OD right in front of the apartment building, and etc. This is not a safe or clean or well kept up place to live. Even if you can't afford anywhere else this is still not a good option. Please live anywhere else but here. My life has been nothing but stress since living here. I am actively counting down the days until my lease is up. Good luck also getting the staff to do their jobs right. Genesis staff is unprofessional, incompetent and don't care about their tenants."

"If I could give this 0 stars I would. They give just about anyone an apartment apparently. We had cops in our building almost everyday! Used needles in the yard, mold in our ac units because they couldn't have been bothered to fix our HVAC system for the 2 years we lived there, washer constantly flooded the laundry room, people stealing your laundry. They think they can enter the premises anytime they want. Don't even bother asking for your deposit fee because even after you move out, deep clean, shampoo, repaint they still charge you a cleaning fee of $95 and a shampooing fee for $200. And a ton of random charges! We could never get maintenance done we went without a fridge for 2 weeks even though they say they have a "emergency maintenance line" and did not replace the spoiled groceries nor offer a discount. If you are decent people that pay their rent on time and have a family and keep things clean, find somewhere else to go. There are much better places and you deserve better. I can't tell you everything that's happened otherwise I'd be here all day."
