"The staff at the office are very enthusiastic and attentive. If I have any problems, they will be enthusiastically helped and resolved. The apartment is very good to live in, comfortable and convenient and close to school"
"Vivo is a great place to live! The Maintenance Team is always quick to respond to any issue. The Office Staff is very kind and helpful. I like it here! I recommended staying at Vivo."
"I moved into Vivo in August 2022 in a two bed, and had a pretty unpleasant experience, in the beginning. They set me up with a roommate by having me take a personality quiz and then they're supposed to find someone who is similar to you. This person was the opposite, and we ended up having so many issues that I just did not feel comfortable in my own home. Felt like I couldn't leave my room sometimes. I understand that this isn't entirely Vivos fault but maybe a better roommate matching system would help? We were also dealing with roaches, not even a month into moving in. It got worse and worse, my roommate even woke up one day with them on her bed. We did not receive much help from management at all. At first, they didn't do anything until my mom who works with the Health Department came into the office with her badge and scared them. They then placed sticky traps in the kitchen, saying they "treated" it. My roommate and I had to buy our own stuff to treat the apartment. We bombed the place and bought some sort of pest control spray and what not. We didn't know what else to do, but figured it would be more effective than sticky traps. I couldn't deal with living there anymore with the roaches and a roommate I didn't feel comfortable living with. I spoke with management to see if I could relet or something, and instead they offered me a newly updated single bedroom unit. I took them up on it, and I was actually amazed by how fast this transfer was. I got the keys to the new unit that same day. I was pretty excited as the apartment itself was a lot nicer than the previous and very cozy. Although, upon moving in there were a few things we needed maintenance to look at. Thankfully most of it got taken care of pretty fast but one thing did not. The large vent in the bathroom was completely fallen apart. The guy who looked at it said he's still learning and needed to grab his boss for help. He never came back until weeks later after I had reached out to the office. He came in and fixed it but one touch to the vent and it was completely fallen apart again, as if he set it up to look like it was fixed but didn't actually do the work. Aside from that, we really didn't have a lot of issues after moving into the new unit until I decided to relet (for my own personal reasons, it wasn't because of Vivo specifically). The process took about a month and a half, maybe almost two months as we needed to find someone to relet. They ended up finding someone for me, and once they did they communicated with me very poorly. I had turned in my keys already but still had a small balance on my account and I tried calling the office several times to try and make sure there wasn't anything else I needed to do in order for the new resident to move in (if there was, the resident couldn't move in and I'd be responsible for another month, which I simply couldn't do. So I was concerned.) But nobody responded to my calls even though I called at their usual business hours. I called again the next day and emailed, but the man who answered my call seemed like he knew nothing at all about the relet process and told me that he will let the manager Faith know that I called and she will either call or email me when she is back in office the next day. It's been over a month since I moved and I never received a call back or email or anything. So clearly, the relet went well, I just wish they would have communicated a little better. Truthfully, I don't know exactly how to rate Vivo as I have had such a rollercoaster of an experience. Although one thing Vivo did well for sure was making sure they knew their residents. They would host parties, have pizza or coffee in the office and know every one by face and name. There was even a time they made goodie bags for all of the residents with pets. I got treats and toys for my kitty with her name on the bag. Sometimes though I felt as if they tried more to be your friend than a professional."
"Moving into Vivo Toledo as someone who came all the way for Nigeria has been a nice experience. The apartment layout is spacious and well-designed, providing a comfortable and modern living space. The amenities included in the apartment truly enhance the overall experience. The move-in process was quite seamless. The staff at Vivo Toledo were incredibly helpful and efficient. Any questions I had were addressed promptly, and they made sure that everything was in order for my move-in day. I got emails that kept on notifying me on the need to cross items off my checklist so as to enhance a smooth move in process. This level of professionalism and support made the transition into my new apartment in a breeze. The location of Vivo Toledo is also worth mentioning. Situated in a vibrant neighborhood, I appreciate the convenience of having shops, restaurants, and most importantly, it's within close proximity to UToledo. It typically takes about 10 minutes to my campus building. Any maintenance requests I've had were promptly attended to by the maintenance team, which further speaks to the dedication of the management in ensuring a comfortable living experience for residents. I actually reported a maintenance issue in the morning and by the time I was back, it was fixed already. In conclusion, I would definitely be recommending Vivo Toledo to anyone in search of a quality living space especially UT and potential UT students. My move-in experience has been smooth, enjoyable, and hassle-free."
