"This is a nice place to live; however, they were not responsive during the winter break. At this time of the year, new students from other countries may travel and have no place to stay. They rely on the mentioned day to check in on the lease agreement."

"Okay, so, I stayed at this place for a year, and man, it was a total letdown. You know those sweet pics they show you? Well, forget about it 'cause the rooms were nothing like that. When my window broke in the dead of winter, it took them a whole 4 WEEKS to fix it! It felt like they only cared about milking us for rent money. Getting my deposit back? Ha! That took them a whopping 4 months! And remember those gift cards they promised if we applied early and referred friends? Yeah, never got 'em. Don't fall for their ads, guys. They're all about the cash and couldn't care less about us, the students."

"I have been at Edge for over 2 years. I had a great experience my first year here and things were great and clean. Management was kind and the office staff was very helpful. Maintenance calls were answered within 24 hours usually. Since the last office manager, Jim, left things have gone downhill. This new manager is so rude and will never take responsibility. He gets defensive and tells everyone to calm down. I had an issue and told him about what security said and he said what they say does not matter because they are a third-party. He also said they will say things about the office because they do not like the office staff. Why would you tell a resident that. Everyone should be on the same page but this new management does not like that. He does not like that people say things about him but fails to do anything about it. He made the pool hours shorter, he never gets the pool cleaned and it was always full of algae. The pool sat full of algae for months until they finally closed it right temperatures got into the 30s. Everything looks terrible and is not kept up. The only thing making the place look clean is the man and woman who come and clean throughout the week. Management also does not care about renewing residents, they only care about new residents. They took over half of the premium parking spots away and gave them to new residents, FOR FREE. They just made up an excuse for it. They do not care anymore and will just give you a $25 gift card for your inconvenience. I went without air for weeks and was not sleeping. The company they hired did not know how to do their job and I had to tell them what needed to be done and let them know they are getting screwed. I used to recommend this place but now I will not. I cannot wait to move out!"

"I’m a parent of a college student who rents here. I co-signed a lease for my student. I have been thoroughly disappointed with the dismissive treatment received from the leasing office when trying to resolve issues. DO NOT rent here. I am currently a second year resident. The customer service that I’ve experienced in the leasing office is appalling. Angel Wilcox, office manager, has made it extremely difficult to solve an issue that I brought to their attention due to an oversight on their end. Once you sign a lease they treat you like you don’t exist. I pay my rent monthly on time and can’t even get a meeting with management. They intentionally make it difficult for you to ask questions about policies. Not helpful. I will not be renewing my lease here. They only cater to new customers that they are trying to appeal to and get them locked into a lease. Just because most of the residents are students doesn’t mean they should be dismissive and treat them like they have no voice. Parking is atrocious. They charge $50 a month for premium parking and you’re not guaranteed a spot next to your building. They have poor communication. Every year they make you renew your parking pass and you don’t even get to keep the same spot. They assign you an arbitrary number. They ask you to renew your lease 10 months before it ends with the threat of losing your apartment if you do not renew only two months after you’ve moved in. When I applied for the apartment they were helpful and accommodating. Now that I’ve signed a lease, I’m not a valued customer. They put no effort into customer satisfaction. I’m a very patient person and would be willing to work with them if the customer service wasn’t so awful. Renters beware."

"I have lived at Edge for 2 years and have overall had an okay experience. It is nice being so close to campus and having your own bedroom and bathroom. However, the management team does not take authority and is not transparent with their residents. I had many issues with our neighbors being extremely loud at all hours of the night (on week nights) and emailed management many times to get this issue resolved as in the lease there are quiet hours posted and charges are supposed to be made if the quiet hours are broken. Nothing was done to ever resolve this issue which was upsetting to me as I had early classes and/or work every weekday morning and was losing sleep because of our neighbors. I was just told by management to “let us know if this happens again” and it continued to happen for the 2 years I lived here with no solution. The amenities are almost always not available or broken. For example, the pool never opens when it’s supposed to and is not maintained, and 2 out of the 3 treadmills in the gym are almost always not working, if not all 3. My first year living there, there was an attempted kidnapping and the residents were not made aware of the situation at all. I’ve had many friends have their cars broken into or their catalytic converters stolen from their cars in the parking lots. For as much money as the residents pay to live here, I would expect the management team to take things more seriously and prioritize keeping the amenities up to par."
