"Stopped in to look at tile for a home project. Walked around for 5 minutes and finally decided to ask the female employee "is there anyone that can help me with some tile?" She said "well, I guess so!" She then grabs a salesman, that quoted $1500 for the exact tile that can be ordered online (from the manufacturer) for $700 and $200 shipping. Really wanted to spend our money in our community, But not going to spend an extra $600 to do so........... True definition of price gouging"

"I had carpet put in my family room dining room living room and hall way December of 2020. Glen was the sales rep that seemed really nice at first and the carpet looked great great. Odd that they ran my credit card but never even emailed a receipt.Then over the next year I started getting humps in my family room carpet. I called Glen and he assured me he would get someone out to fix it. Months would go by & nothing. Then when I would try to call & text I would never get a response or call back. He did finally answer my call one day when I called from my work phone. He promised to have someone out in the next several weeks when Barrington had a job in the area. Well here we are almost 2 years chasing this guy and a room that now has 20 foot long humps completely across the room. It looks awful. I did forget to mention that when I did talk to Glen he denied any installation error and said its probably from excessive carpet cleaning and or dragging furniture over it. Well neither is the case. The carpet had only been cleaned 2 times in this period and the furniture has never moved because of the layout it can't go anywhere else. So now I finally hired a carpet guy that has over 30 years experience and he confirmed a very poor installation was done. He used a power stretcher and fixed what Barrington should have done at some point over the last 2 years. Of course the $150.00 was at my expense to make this right. Just horrible service and follow up from Glen at Barrington Floors. Buyer beware!!"

"I am so pleased with how things went with Barrington. Gary was so helpful in guiding me to choose the best carpet for my sons' rooms. He was patient and informative throughout the entire process. The installers, Chris, Chris, and Anthony, not only installed the carpet quickly and efficiently but they also fixed a broken doorframe and put back a closet door that had previously come off without me even asking! From the sales person, Gary, who was helpful and knowledgeable about the different options we had regarding the carpet - to the measure man, Denny, who was friendly and knowledgeable - to the two installers, Chris and Anthony, who were totally awesome. They came in and got the job done - they knew what they were doing and they answered all of our questions. They did a great job and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. "I opened Altima Tan 15 years ago and during the buildout I went to Barrington for our floor covering. Valarie was my sales rep and she researched several coverings that would not be affected by the UV light. She went as far as to get a letter from a manufacturer that guaranteed their product for 20 years. So, 15 years later, it's as shinny as the day it was installed. See pics. So, today I called Barrington and to my surprise she still worked there. I was frustrated by having to repaint my deck every year. Rather than take a sale for some indoor/outdoor carpet, she told me to grin and bare it as the carpet would look nice, but would ultimately rote the wood. If you are looking for sound advise on what or what not to purchase, at a price you can afford, she's your go to person."
