"Love this preserve. The trail is a wood deck path about 1.5 miles long. Very quiet. Dogs and bikes are not allowed. I am looking forward to walking it this Spring and Summer."
"This is one of my favorite places to go for a walk and relax for a while. The view is always lovely, but be sure to bring bug spray!"
"Even in winter it's stunning! A bit of a shorter walk than most. It's completely boardwalk except for part of it when you have to cross the street. Right before that there's a section of boardwalk that's sinking in a little with excess weight so watch your step."
"Nice trails to walk on! We saw many different types of plants and dragonflies. The birds were amazing and this is a great place for bird watching. Wood Thrush, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak are all over. Both Yellow-billed and Black Cuckoos can be heard from the boardwalk, and the Blue-winged Warbler was also around. I highly recommend that you bring sunscreen and plenty of bug spray! Because it is a wetland area the mosquitoes can get bad. The parking is a small area for a few vehicles and there is no restroom or portable restroom available onsite so plan ahead. You need to stay on the walkway while visiting as to not trample on the rate plants that grow here. Really nice place to enjoy nature and learn."
"First time going there today and I absolutely loved it. No one else was there, so I enjoyed the lovely boardwalk trail alone. It's so pretty and not a super long path either. So you can get some quick exercise in or walk it several times over. There a lovely little lookout bench at the "end" (the trail loops back) and it's so peaceful to just sit and listen and watch. No bikes or pets allowed, it's open until dark, and the trail is a boardwalk and it's not overly wide, so you'll need to be mindful of other people walking by. No playground, just the walk through nature. My kids are 7, 4, and 2 and I believe they would greatly enjoy this walk too."
