"Visited Homecoming Park on a late October Saturday afternoon for my granddaughter’s soccer match. There is almost a full acre of fields that appear well kept. Lines and goals were in good shape and although the grass was a bit thin in places it was more than adequate. There had been food trucks in the morning that were pulling out. Parking is abundant. The only shortcoming on this visit was lack of a drinking water source and the presence of only two porta potties, one of which was in sad shape from the morning’s use. There are many more features in this park worthy of a visit."

"I remember as a child dirt bike riding here. Then I watched them digging the pond. Then they built small things. It's changed alot over the last 40 years but it is not bad. They still hold the strawberry festival here."

"Did the Springfield Splash (a.k.a. Polar Bear Plunge) there on New Years Day. It was invigorating, the people were fun, and the Fire Dept. was awesome for breaking the ice and keeping us safe."

"Great park with amazing Fields and play structures...but as usual some killjoy has to ruin it for all by mutilating the toilets. We had to leave so we could potty"

"Our soccer park my daughter plays travel soccer here. The on-site Park is great for entertaining my son and the soccer fields themselves are well-kept with Lush grass and new net equipment. The parking is plentiful throughout the whole complex and they even have baseball fields with a batting cage."
