Dairy Queen

"I would love to give this DairyQueen four or five stars however that is simply impossible given the fact that you increase cost your prices, so high each and every year. It’s unaffordable anymore. This is definitely the best Dairy Queen in the area, as it is privately owned. However, I’m not going to continue driving 10 minutes to this one when I live two minutes from Carlisle and the prices are better. It’s just not worth it anymore. I hope you guys consider lowering your prices as alot of us have been coming and supporting your business since we were children when our grandparents would bring us after school. It’s so disheartening to see you guys sell out like most."

"Today, October 14th 2023, I dropped in with my son to get him something for his birthday. Two teenage girls with blonde hair were behind the counter chatting. The language used was not fit for customer ears, especially since we are Christian and would never think of using such foul language like the f-word in casual conversation. I asked where the manager was, and it turned out the manager was just as young as they were. I told her what happened and she was dismissive, saying to the employee jokingly, “You know you shouldn’t be talking that way.” I told her that I could see she doesn’t care and that she’s obviously in their age group. Then I left with my son. You lost our family as customers, so good luck keeping the customers you still have. Maybe they like cursing, who knows…"

"Waited in line for 20 minutes. Placed my order for 2 sandwiches at 9:20– 40 minutes before their sign says they close. Was turned away because they put away the food. If they aren’t serving food past a certain time, customers need to know via a posted sign. I started waiting around 9, an hour before closing and left without food. I kept my composure and left. It’s just bad management. I’m done going here."

"Friendly staff and great ice cream. UPDATE: The ice cream was still amazing, but the staff was less than friendly. The girl that helped us out seemed to be annoyed with everything and did not do a good job with making my blizzard. UPDATE 2: The ice cream is still amazing, but the service is even worse than previous visits. Every single employee had a frown on their face and looked absolutely miserable. No one talked to eachother at all. The girl that served us worked on restocking napkins for several minutes without acknowledging us standing at the counter. When she was finally ready to serve us she just looked at us with no hello or anything. If I could give the staff at this location less than 1 star I would. I'm not sure what has happened over the years, but I really hope service changes. As you can see, my initial review from years ago was friendly staff."
