"Miss Chelsea is the best. It is so rare to find a day care run by someone with Montessori training where students learn through play with developmentally appropriate activities. And the indoor space at Shine in-Home care is beautiful. Very clean and organized and lots of space and big windows and lots of natural light. It's the nicest indoor space at any day care I've ever seen. As someone who constantly worries about my child, Miss Chelsea put my mind at ease. He gets lots of attention, high quality nutritious food, and plenty of time outdoors. He loves Miss Chelsea and is always coming home impressing us with new things he learned at Shine and he looks forward to going back every day. Shine In-Home Care is an absolutely amazing day care that I recommend to everyone I know. We were really lucky to find it."

"Our toddler has been going to Shine In-Home Care for almost a year now, and she loves it (as do we)! The Montessori-based program allows for a variety of activities and helps children learn basic skills like dressing themselves, cleaning, toileting and more. Our now-2-year-old loves that she gets to spend a good amount of time outside in the yard and adores wearing her rainsuit and boots. (I think sometimes she is more excited when she gets to play in a light rain than on a sunny day!) She also really enjoys their yoga time and singing songs she has learned there (including spelling her name, days of the week and months of the year). The small class size makes for an intimate setting with plenty of chance to make friends too. Miss Chelsea communicates regularly via the Brightwheel app and in person. We highly recommend Miss Chelsea and Shine In-Home Care!"

"I have nothing but positive things to say about Shine in-home care! It is a fabulous Montessori based center with a very small class size and low teacher to child ratios. My son just turned 18 months old and is thriving at this center! He looks forward to going to see his friends and the amazing Ms. Chelsea every day! Ms. Chelsea is extremely kind and nurturing and is dedicated to creating a natural, yet aesthetically pleasing environment that fosters independence, sparks curiosity and helps children grow socially, cognitively and with practical life skills. As a preschool teacher myself, it was very important to me that my son be in this type of environment. He also get lots of outdoor play regardless of weather and is provided with a very healthy homemade lunch and healthy snacks. I viewed many daycare centers while I was pregnant. Shine Nurture Center and Shine In-home Care centers were the only Montessori based ones that also provided tons of outdoor learning, healthy food, small class sizes, low ratios and an environment that allows children freedom to explore. They also have a wonderful app that allows me to see photos and communicate throughout the day!"
