"Clague Playhouse is such a gem. The scenery is crafted with such elegance; there are always layers and depth even in the most simple stage settings. The acting is consistently top notch. Moreover, because it is such an intimate theater, you can see the nuances in their expressions and truly feel like you are part of the scene."
"Intimate, small venue. Great community theater, a step above typical CT fare."
"My husband and I attended the play “ Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol” before Christmas and it was outstanding! This little community theater has been going strong for 96 years and we’ve attended many plays over the years! This playhouse features exceptionally talented actors and actresses and their professionalism, along with the professionalism in the set designing, lighting, sound, production and directing, makes this a treasured gem! It’s always a cherishable and memorable experience! Thank you Clague Playhouse Community Theater!"
"Lovely little theater with easy, free parking and handicap access. We saw a terrific play with a great cast that was lots of fun."
"I love this little playhouse. It’s a very cozy and I’ve seen probably six plays today and they’ve all been good. Sometimes they’re quirky, but they’re always enjoyable. It’s a lot of fun to go here. They also have a great fundraising jewelry sale in December. That is not to be missed. It’s called the jewelry heist. The plays are performed in the round meaning you see them from three sides. I think the entire theater probably seats about maybe 100 people it’s small but there’s not a bed seat in the house. I think tickets usually run around $15. The sets always impressed me too for such a small place."
