While The Old Bag of Nails Pub has its charms, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of service and ambiance. "Jon was fast and attentive food was excellent. But is was super awkward sitting at the bar and a child was sitting next to me.... I'm a bartender and I feel like this illegal. Made me and my friends get up and leave. You lost at least a hundred dollar tab...."
"I gave only 4 stars on the food due to consistency.. most of the time everything is great. Entrees are typically well prepared but some of the sides are a hard pass. I'm looking at you coleslaw. The Reuben never disappoints. Service is always great. A couple years ago, they reduced the menu, removing the ny strip. I understand at the time, supply was rough, but I think it's time to bring back something representing the steak category."
"Waitress was excellent! My salad was huge. I actually took most of it home and had a second meal. The grilled chicken was actually warm and the blue cheese crumbles are the best I have ever had. Not too strong."
