"This review is not intended to be a jerk. I’ve been to 1808 many times, and I’ve always had a very good meal. This one, though, not so much. I took a picture because this is close to how I ordered it, medium rare. The problem is that it’s not mine. Mine was medium well. I could live with that, but it was served to me at room temperature, maybe slightly warmer. Not good, and frankly, it didn’t taste that good either. So, hopefully, this was just a bad night. They can do better. They should do better."

"My wife and I ate there for our 34th anniversary. The food was all excellent! For starters we have the summer cheese plate. Veggies were fresh and the xheesw Blended perfectly. Wife had Braised Beef Lasagna which was rich and luscious. It was a cold evening so chose the grilled cheese sandwich (massive with 4 cheeses). The bread was buttery and crisp. With it I had the tomato bisque and it was velvety and fresh. We finished the even with a shared plate of beignet, still warm perfected drizzled with honey and a side of fresh vanilla whipped cream floating on top of coffee. An overall delightful experience!"
"Couldn’t find a single reason to give less than 5 stars! The atmosphere was so quaint, our sever, Tony, is the guy you really need to bring home so he can describe everything that is happening around you at all times! His energy and passion for the food was incredible and he left us feeling like we should rush back! Our food (all courses) was absolutely delicious. You can tell that so much thought went into each dish. I had the salmon and will have that again for sure! If you don’t get dessert, you didn’t come to play! Will be back and will bring friends because everyone needs to try this place! (Pictures shown: Summer cheese spread, Salmon, Peach Cobbler, Beignets, Short Rib Asian Bowl)"
