"After calls from myself, my caseworker and physician I still have issues getting answers. Hardly anyone at either office, the one has zero receptionist so I had to SLIDE MEDICAL paperwork under a door after being told so on the phone on asking "where is someone". Months later still no word. I call again and again to be ignored and hung up on. I can't get my financial aid until that paperwork is signed and sent to the appropriate places. Myself and my medical team will never recommend this company to anyone"
"If I could give zero stars, I would. The one star they earn is literally because my therapist is amazing. But if you can, avoid this place like the plague. I should've followed the reviews and I believe I will now because let me tell you, their billing department is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I go here to improve my mental health and how they handle that department just makes my mental health worse ultimately. I've called six times over the course of a month and a half now because they are not properly billing me at all. Now each time I've called, I've left a voicemail with details and I have YET to receive a phone call back. No email. I've received absolutely nothing from them. It's beyond ridiculous how it's being handled. If you don't have an answer for me, give me the courtesy of letting me know so I'm not twiddling my thumbs wondering what's going on. Incredibly unprofessional. Please search high and low for a different place to go. Hopefully whoever runs this entire place gets some type of wake up call that they have serious issues going on within the billing department. I just am blown away. Truly blown away. I went from being patient, to being a bit sad as no one was getting back to me (despite being told by someone there that I'd hear from them within a day or two) to which now a month & 1/2 went by and I've yet to hear back and also since then, gave them six additional phone calls wondering what's the status of the issue, but not one single answer or callback."
"I called center for effective living for Austism testing today for my son because the wait at our clinic was a year long and our doctor told us that the center for effective living would be able to get us in quicker. The lady who answered the phone was not friendly at all and very rude, she got all huffy on the phone because I asked her for a price breakdown of what they would bill our insurance. She claimed the billing department was in a meeting, then put me on hold without even telling me she was putting me on hold. 10 minutes later she got back on the phone and asked if I wanted to schedule an intake appointment for next week and I told her that was fine but I needed to know the price breakdown before I agree to anything. She got pissy with me again and told me that she’s putting me on hold and then she hung up without letting me respond. I sat on hold for 20 minutes, then someone decided to pick up the phone and hang up on me. I’m not even bothering calling them back. I was on the phone with her for 45 minutes in total, most of the time on hold. She got pissed at all my questions in which I was asking very nicely. my son has a suspected autism diagnosis and this place showed no care in the world for a place that is focused on mental health. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. That is not how you treat customers/patients. No one should trust this place, I sure don’t."
"If I had a choice of not putting a star I would rather choose that! We scheduled for my son to be evaluated for autism back in July. We had an initial meeting just for them to tell us they have to file a prior authorization for insurance and will call and set up evaluation. I called at least 4 or 5 times to check on it and they said they were still waiting. Come to find out they never filed it! Then 2 days before the evaluation they canceled due to scheduling with the wrong therapist. Finally were seen once, then the day of the second appt they canceled again. Front staff is absolutely disrespectful and rude!!!!!"
