"the therapists are genuinly trying their best, but god I hate Dr. Hussain so much. I had so many issues with him and his care. Since I started with him when I was in 7th grade, he hadn't been listening to me and my needs for meds.he kept trying to change me onto new ADHD meds that either caused severe issues, had history of patients becoming addicted even thought my family and I would ask him not to, and on top of all, i would ask specifically for a 3 month supply between appointments and I would get 45 days, him thinking I wouldn't have to take it everyday- which he knew I had to. After my meds were up they demanded I schedule appointments just to get a refill, even if it was my anxiety meds only. I'm so glad I am not with them anymore- and if you're child is in need of a doctor, steer very far of this place- they may be professional's, but they are just looking for money."

"I had been going here for about 6 or so years. Since I was 14. This place, was terrible from the beginning, but we stayed because there wasn't many other places who would take our insurance. For one, I went through 2 counselors in the same company before I went to my last one there. I had seen the doctor since I started there, and let me just tell you. He is so not compassionate. He has no care for what you say, and he just throws a prescription in your face wh . You've been in the his office for less than ten minutes, then he tells you to get out. The only time I ever saw him actually care to see me was when I brought my ESA in and he was so excited to see it, but he didnt care about me. He kept talking about my puppy. I recently had to go to the hospital, because the damn doctor couldn't figure out what was going on with my medicine, and so he kept telling me to take it, and I was getting nothing but worse and worse side effects, so I went to the hospital and they took me off of it. Since then, I have left that place with no warning to them, because they dont need my warning or our money anymore, and I moved out to Psych BC. Let me just tell you, that has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'm getting treated with compassion and respect now, and I've been diagnosed with the right problems for my symptoms. So yeah, please dont go here. I wouldnt advise it."

"Stay away from Family Counseling Centers of Westlake!!! I needed assistance from my doctor recently regarding an adjustment to my medication. I left three messages with the front desk over the course of a week and a half. Despite my efforts to reach my doctor, he never returned my call. I was hospitalized shortly after which may have been avoided if the doctor provided the help I needed. There seems to be a communication issue with the office staff and doctors. This is the sixth or seventh time they have ignored my messages. In addition, this office does not have the ability to electronically send prescriptions to a pharmacy. Everything is done on paper which is mind blowing. Not only is this an inconvenience it also has caused issues with my pharmacy filling the proper prescription. I have already switch to a PsychBC facility and couldn't be happier. If I could leave zero stars for this business I would."
