Homewood Suites Cincinnati Midtown

"Ruined my wedding night. I booked over a month in advance to have a room and even contacted the hotel so they could note our late check in due to our wedding reception. We arrived, tired, me still wearing my heavy dress, and when we got to our room past 12:30 a.m. we were given a room that had never been cleaned. Bed slept in. Towels on the bathroom floor. McDonalds trash and alcohol bottles strewn about. There was no fix but a refund as they were booked. Why was our room overlooked in the cleaning process? No offer other than refund to apologize to the married couple who now had to wait for an Uber in the dark for 30 minutes to get back to our home and didn't get there till past 2:00 a.m.? Would never recommend."

"The hotel looks nice and clean overall but it's in dire need of deep cleaning. Urine stains on both mattresses along with debris and hair. Blood stains or unknown stains on the bathroom cabinets and sink. Filthy silverware in the drawers, sticky stuff on the floors. The 4.5 rating has to be a fluke. The staff are nice and helpful at the front desk. But the cleaning staff need extra training. The matress was disgusting."

"I don't know how may stars this hotel is rated at but I felt it was a 5 star hotel. We stayed on the 5th floor and our room was great. I've been in dirtier hospitals, thats how clean the room was. Everything in the suite was working as intended and the keyless entry was awesome. Just book the room skip the desk and go right to your room. I didn't get to use the pool or the free breakfast but of the stuff we did use I felt it was more than enough. The location is also was awesome because of all the eating options within walking distance and a grocery close by. Parking was a little limited but that's because of construction going on next door. I'd stay there again 4 sure."

"Hotel staff is very friendly. The breakfast is great with tons of options. The rooms are spacious with a dash of abstract art. Great amenities (gym, pool, laundry). And room 219 is definitely haunted. Would recommend."

"I was traveling alone for business and picked this location based on the reviews. It is about 15-20 minutes outside of downtown Cincinnati and was in a nice and safe area. It is located close to tons of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. I felt very safe in this location. The rooms were very nice and spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The continental breakfast is what you would expect, but if you prefer something more, there are plenty of food options within walking distance or a short drive."
