"I went to see Dr. Dar because he was in my network and wanted a general physical before my coverage ended at the end of the year. I had never heard of him, and he was not recommended to me. I had to see a doctor and he was a doctor, but that was about it. I arrived at his office late in the day on a Tuesday. He only had one receptionist working and she appeared to be overworked. I filled out paperwork and then waited for at least 45 minutes, maybe an hour to be seen. The entire office was incredibly small, about the size of an apartment. Despite the small size, the one staff person did not close the door between the waiting room and the patient rooms; I heard the doctor discussing personal health matters with patients. This might not have occurred if the staff member had closed the door, but either way the walls in the office were paper thin it seemed. But nonetheless, she did not close that door. I waited to see the doctor and I was brought back to an exam room. I sat and waited for the doctor for a reasonable amount of time, but, like I mentioned it was late in the day, it seemed like Dr. Dar and his staff member were on auto pilot. With the door literally across the hall open he asked her if "We were done with patients for the day" Then he proceeded to discuss even more personal health information with his staff person across the facility. I heard full names of patients, their prescriptions, AND EVEN THEIR DOSES! I also heard him say "Something else" out of the blue which makes me think he was on an automated voice system for a credit card or something. Eventually, the doctor came in, gave me an average exam and discussed my health. I did not give him the opportunity to expound knowledge, I just needed a physical, but that was all I got, a basic physical with no frills or whistles. I was not rushed out, but I felt I should be in a hurry to leave because of the lack of professionalism Dr. Dar and his staff member exhibited. I don't ask much from doctors, they know their craft, but they need to remember that there is a human element to what they are doing. I don't wish to return to Dr. Dar, he was far from my home and appeared to be overworked, but even if he was next door to my house I doubt I would be seen by him again. -Nick Domitrovic"
