"I waited 2 and a half hours to be seen and felt blown off by the doctor and nurse tech. They never asked about the symptoms I reported to person who checked me in, who assured me they would ask for an elaboration. Therefore, I did not give all the details because I assumed the doctor would ask. The doctor barely looked at me/checked me out then asked if I wanted a strep test?? I asked if she thought it was strep and she told me maybe. I got the test done because I wasn’t sure what else I should do. The nurse tech who came in to do my strep test told me I probably don’t have strep (before doing the test). I had coughed (with my mask on) as she walked in (because I was sick), and she told me not to cough while she was in the room. I was truly appalled by this visit. Additionally, while I was being checked in, the person who checked me in kept having troubles with the program she was using. It shut her out and she had to redo almost the entire check in process with me. I understand waiting a while in urgent care on a Monday, but the way I was treated after I finally got into the office was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend going to this urgent care. The only good thing about this visit was the nice woman who checked me in."

"I was waiting for a drug test for a job and asked for a wait time at the urgent care. The one young woman with light brown hair was immediately dismissive and quite rude. It was a simple question in which I'd asked politely. She quite literally waved me off. I've sat here long enough to see she comes across this way to every patient. If you're in a rush say so, but don't talk down to people. Edit: 1 star. If you can wait 2 hours to go to the bathroom when they told you to come in ready to go, this is the place for you."

"I had an appointment in the Mentor Family Practice for the very first time with Physician Assistant, Abby Cicero and I just wanted to put a little review on here to give their practice some praise. Abby was very sweet, kind, she really listened to me and talked with me, and was overall just a amazing. I recommend her to anyone that needs to see a provider. Abbys M a Natalie was also very sweet and I loved talking with her. Also Angel downstairs in the lab drew my blood for me, and she was so nice, and she laughed with me and she also made this whole process a lot easier. I just wanted their excellence to be recognized. Also thank you ladies at the front desk in MFP and the lab as well (and I’m sorry I didn’t catch their names) but they were so nice and helpful. Thank you for all you do ladies you are greatly appreciated :)"

"Even though we had a 2 hour wait at the Urgent Care, the staff we encountered during that time was pleasant and professional. Check-in person was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Nurse that took us back to room said she came in to help staff clear up patients. Doctor Maguire came into exam room quickly and was friendly and got us out in a short time."

"I’ve been using the Wellness Center for roughly two years now. I have always enjoyed working out here. Just like any place, there are good things and there are some not so good things. I experienced a rather significant privacy issue in the locker room there a couple weeks ago. Several male customers did in fact. I reported the incident to the Patient Advocacy department and Lake Health has yet to respond and it’s nearly two weeks after the fact. What I find particularly disappointing is if the situation we experienced had happened to female customers, it would have been addressed rather quickly I’m sure. Since this has been brought to a public forum as an alternative now, I’m sure I will get a prompt response. I find it disappointing that only the alternative will receive a prompt response. ***** Response to your reply, Erin: obviously they don’t take concerns very seriously. I’m very confused by your response too. You’re telling me to file a complaint with the Patient Advocacy Dept. I’ve already done this.. twice as a matter of fact. I’m not sure why you’re telling me to do something I’ve already done. It’s been a month and not a single person from Lake Health has reached out to me. I’ve also called during regular business hours and have been transferred to the operator stating, “well, they must be busy.” I’m extremely disappointed in Lake Health and the way in which they’ve handled this. Well, I should say how they haven’t handled it actually. I think I’ll be taking my complaint to other sources. Perhaps Lake Health will take it seriously then."
