"Listen I have come to herb n twine many times and I will give it to them, they make one of the best subs in Cleveland. Even with that statement I have decided they are not worth it. This restaurant is low key a mess. The phone line is usually busy and the mailbox is full. Their close time is “when they run out of bread” which is usually before 2pm. Like I love the close when bread is out concept but you should make enough bread to at least make it to 4 every day. Also it’s 2024 time to get online ordering if you can’t answer your phone. Also for my order today called ahead placed it at 11:45 and was told it would be 35 mins. Finally walked out of herb n twine at 1:05….. it took them over an hour to make 5 subs. I can sit down in a restaurant get apps and a full meal and pay my bill in under an hour. So herb n twine you guys need to step up your game. You guys even look miserable in there. Enjoy what you do and do it with passion or quit and do something else. Run your establishment and stop acting like it’s a side gig."
"I got the pork sandwich. It had shaved pork loin, gruyere cheese, braised apple kraut and maple & fennel mustard. I wanted to love this sandwich, but it just wasn't that great sadly. The pork was flavorless and the kraut overpowered everything in not a good way. It wasn't disgusting it was edible, but just not my cup of tea. However, the staff was friendly and I'm willing to give it another try and just get something different next time."
"A long overdue praise, but back in October I had planned my sister’s baby shower. We decided to get Herb’n Twine as the main food and not only was it a hit, but they were so wonderful to communicate with. Made the catering side of things so easy for me which took such a weight off my shoulders. We got so many compliments on the food from guests that I just wanted to pass along. Cheers to you all and many many thanks!"
"This place gets A LOT of hype, but is it worth it? YES. This restaurant is takeout only. We walked in around noon on a Friday. There was only one person in front of us in line. We ordered two sandwiches: the vegetable (it's vegetarian) and the Turkey club. I saw from reviews online that we should be prepared for a long wait. So we sat down on the bench inside to wait. I was pleasantly surprised when we only had to wait 15 minutes during the prime lunch hour! We go the two subs, two bags of chips, and two bottles of water for under $30, which I thought was so reasonable! The sandwiches were hearty and big! We took our sandwiches to the nearby park / library to eat on a bench, since there was no where to actually eat at the restaurant. Being a vegetarian, it's difficult to find filling and flavorful food. But omgsh, this sandwich was amazing! (My husband said it was even better than his!) So many wonderful flavors from the sweet potato, to the picked red onions, the pesto, the fire roasted tomato. OMG YUM. My husband was impressed by his Turkey club saying it was the best sandwich he's ever had. He said all the flavors worked together nicely."
"The smoked turkey club was amazing. The bread to meat ratio is perfect. They don’t skimp on the sauce. Every bite is packed with flavor. The sandwich was filling but I could’ve ate more just because it was the best I have had in Cleveland."
