Brown Derby

"Went with my daughter and boyfriend during the holidays and the atmosphere was festive. The service and food was very good so I took my wife and a friend back after the holidays. Picked a very busy night but got seated right away. The server had her hands full but eventually got to us. We all ordered steaks. My wife and my friends steak looked good and tasted good, however mine was terrible. Ordered the T bone. I seldom complain but in this case I couldn't even eat it so I did . The owner came to the table and saw that i didn't eat it and offered me another but had it taken off the bill instead. We talked to the owner for several minutes after and had a very pleasant conversation with him. Despite having a bad steak I definitely would go back for another day. The service was great and still had a pleasant time. Think I will upgrade my steak though like my wife and friend did."

"Twice my friends' food was not cooked properly and although both meals were taken off the bill, we were there for dinner, not a free meal. I ordered the grilled chicken, and it was as dry as dry could be. Luckily, the salad was good, or I would have gone home hungry. The woman's restroom also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks."

"We had a party of 5. We were the first party to be seated when they opened at 4 pm. We placed our orders immediately because we had been looking at the menu while we waited to be seated. For reasons I still don't understand, we waited 45 minutes for our meals to be served. When they did arrive, they were all cold. I ended up not eating because it tasted "off ". I was the only one that didn't get sick. 4 of us ordered steaks. My husband ordered the shrimp and started to feel ill before we even left the restaurant. 3 more in our party became terribly ill within the next 2-8 hours. My husband- who almost never gets sick- was in severe GI distress for 3 days. My friend was up all night sick and her symptoms lingered for several days as well. I have zero doubt that it was a food borne illness. I called the restaurant the next morning to advise them that I was concerned. The manager asked me not to contact the health department. She insisted it couldn't have been from the food and offered to send a gift card. The gift card never arrived..... Not that I would ever consider walking through those doors again. My husband had the worst case of food poisoning he had ever experienced. I do not recommend eating here until they review their food handling procedures."

"Love the food here and the service is usually amazing. The salad is delicious and served family style and the steaks are cooked to perfection."

"Came here from out of town for company training. Did eat at a couple other locations nearby but felt like this was the most sophisticated Eatery. I did feel like the steak was too fatty and not worth the pricing however the appetizer onion rings we're delicious as were the mushrooms. The carrot cake looked better than what it tasted. My entire meal excluding alcohol came to just under $50. A great value for above average food."
