Slim Chickens

"This restaurant must Not care about their repeated customers, I have been going to that location regularly. The staff seems friendly and professional for the most part. I started to notice missing items in my bag every now and then, A straw, Napkins, Spoon for my dessert... which is not a big deal since I know these things happen, Although every now and then I think.. How hard can it be if you're only putting two or three items in a bag to forget something so essential? Anyways, What really bother me is that for the past two weeks I have been buying Jar Dessert, Which is a item that's on the menu. Sometimes these desserts come Seasonal flavors. When this location open these jars were filled up to the top with Reasonable amounts of the correspondent flavor. In the past week, I have been to this location three times. Twice of those times I have gotten this jar dessert , this jar dessert is supposed To half cheesecake and whipped cream For the most part, But my God! It's ridiculous the amount of whipped cream, and the lack of cheesecake that they've been putting on those things. I mean, You never know since the whip cream covers most of the cheesecake, and if I didn't go through the drive-through eventually eating the food at home, I would totally bring the jar to the manager Because this is borderline, turning into a scam. I got one spoon of cheesecake out of an entire mason jar, The rest was whipped cream. What a rip off they have become. Every now and then I get a water down sauce. Like they have literally cut the sauce with water. I'm not the type of person or write reviews, But this one was absolutely needed. I even had to go through a logging process to be here writing this, Which Takes time from the little time that I have, But I wanted to let it be known. Be aware when you purchase from this place."

"I placed a very large group order or my office at lunchtime. I was impressed that everything was in individual bags with the names labeled on top. Everything in the order was done correctly and it was ready a few minutes early. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was warm and fresh. The restaurant was also very nice and clean. Slim Chickens exceeded my expectations!"

"I had a terrible experience with the salad I ordered. The lettuce and spinach were in terrible condition, rotten, not fresh at all. They were wilted and had brown rotten edges, making the entire salad unappetizing. I was really disappointed with the poor quality of the ingredients. I had to throw out everything."

"I have been here a handful of times in the last year to year and a half. If I lived nearby, I would visit more often. Service has always been fast and friendly. Food usually comes out before we can fill our drinks and sit down. I get the crispy chicken sandwich meal which is served with a lot of fries. The last couple times instead of getting two meals, we started getting one meal and a sandwich and drink and splitting the fries because there are more than enough for two. Today I took my husband for the first time. He got the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich and I got my usual meal. The food was great although I tried a bite of his and didn’t taste any cayenne and there could have been a bit more French fries onions. One thing that surprises me is that whenever we go, we are usually the only ones inside. I think once or twice there may have been people at one or two tables. The drive thru is also never busy. We are usually there at lunch time so I don’t understand why it isn’t more busy. I like Slim Chicken’s crispy chicken sandwich a lot better than Cfa, Popeye’s and Cane’s."

"I happened to stop by for a quick lunch, and began my Slim Chicken’s journey through the drive-thru. They advised me it would be faster to come inside due to the fact they were short staffed. I pulled around and went inside. I figured why not, why not have lunch alone and actually enjoy my time eating. I waited less than 5 minutes, even though they were extremely busy. The gentleman taking my order apologized and explained he was working a double shift today because the manager was out due to an unforeseen emergency. There was a lady huffing and puffing behind me, even though it was apparent this staff was doing the absolute best they could with the minimal staff they had. The staff was communicating extremely well with each other to knock the orders out. They still had a fantastic attitude and were extremely polite, despite what they were going through. I’ve managed a business for 20 years, and I must commend these three employees for pushing through and working their hearts out, all while making sure the customers needs were met. Customers tend to forget how tough a work day can be when short staffed, and extremely busy. Well done, Slim Chicken’s staff in Avon. I will most certainly be back."
