"Wait times are always 4-6 hours. Doctors don’t care about you or your pain. They think you’re a drug addict if you’re “too skinny”. They don’t care about helping you as much as they care about getting you to leave. Facility is usually dirty, overcrowded, and unsanitary. Do not recommend."

"Part 2 to my review: Upon the small team they assembled to load my unconscious father into the backseat of my car, they told us to drive around for awhile and if he doesn’t wake up to just bring him back and they’d just evaluate him then. Sarah, rushes out again and takes the flashlight on her iPhone and says, “something isn’t right.” She started to lift his eye brows and check his pupils. She said, “he isn’t responding at all.” She called her doctor that approved the treatment, I don’t remember his name. All I remember is he was from California. Then they called a code blue as we sat in the roundabout in front of Seidman Cancer Center. My mom and I were freaking out. I sat in the back seat of my Car crying for my dad to just wake up. Next thing I know, almost 50 people run out and someone tells me that, “those are just students who are learning. Meanwhile I’m having a panic attack in front of tons of strangers who are just standing there looking at me and taking notes. My dad was dragged out of the car by the squad and pulled across through the parking garage to the ER. There they did more tests and for some reason they needed to cut open his favorite shirt instead of just taking it off. After hours they told my mom and I that he suffered a brain bleed at some point during the day. They said they could take out half of his brain and he might not make it or they could prepare for hospice. After that, we decided on hospice. They called for the medical transport to take him home. We waited until 2 or 3 am for this medical transport to get him. After being in the hospital since 11am. My father passed three days later. We never got a card, a call or anything from UH. However, we did get a card from the Cleveland clinic despite my dad only being there for two days. I suffer PTSD, even two and a half years later and there’s nothing I can do other than write this review finally and let people know what happened to me so they can avoid the same fate. "First off let me say it’s my medical history and I can share it if I want to if you want to be treated like you don’t matter and ignored, then go here to best place to go It was around 9 PM when I had one in there. And this doesn’t pertain to the time it took for them to see me.! This pertains to their lack of caring so when they finally called me back, they wheeled me to the back, not in a room or anything just in the hallway They proceeded to ask me a bunch of personal questions that make me feel uncomfortable answering in front of other people, but I felt like I was forced to do so anyways so after answering those questions, they proceeded to give me shots for pain because I was having back pain Then they proceeded to put an IV in me right there in the hallway in front of everybody then they told me to stand up so they can put a lidocaine patch on my back. I told him no I’m wearing a dress and I don’t want everybody to see me so they ended up having to put me in a room for a second to put this lidocaine patch on but other than that I was in the hallway the entire time After putting an IV in me and shooting me up with morphine still in this hallway they proceeded to take me out into the waiting room on a high dose of painkillers with an IV in my arm, pumping me full of fluids. I was so shocked, then not only that, but when I was in the waiting room and I was trying to get somebody’s attention to help me because I’m a diabetic, and I needed my sugar to be checked. They completely ignored me, about six people walk by me as I said hi hey hi, I need your help with an IV in my arm in the waiting room. They continue to ignore me until I started screaming at the top of my lungs because I felt like I was gonna pass out because I am a diabetic , I’m still shocked at the fact they put me in the waiting room with an IV in my arm, pumping me full of fluids without even having my test results or anything not knowing what could’ve happened to me. Absolutely disgusting don’t ever go here."

"Always an odd feeling leaving a review for a hospital, but here goes! I felt the quality of care was great, and the main campus and general appearance are beautiful. Top doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals as well. The atrium area connect a few different sections of the campus, and during the day is a great place to catch a bite should you be in the hospital visiting loved ones."

"My 34-year-old brother was in and out of this hospital from 2022-2023 until he passed away. The staff here have the best bedside manner I have experienced compared to other medical centers. My brother was treated with respect and dignity the entire time. Even on his final days, some of his former nurses and assistants came into the ICU to see him one last time. I commend the management at this hospital on how well they treat their employees and it reflects in how they do their job."
