"Went with friends to celebrate a birthday. Drew and the manager were both very nice and accommodating. I personally had the shrimp scampi, it was so good. The dessert was amazing and the manager was very generous by comping the dessert due to the birthday. Would definitely dine there again."

"We came with a group of 5 and chose to sit upstairs, as we hadn't seen each other in a long time and wanted to talk. This turned out to be the perfect decision. Our waiter was helpful, but honest enough to let us know if he couldn't reliably answer a question (so refreshing to have someone say, "I'm not sure, but I will absolutely find out for you."). We shared flatbread and ravioli appetizers, and enjoyed a variety of cocktails. Our meals included the filet steak, the short ribs, the pork osso buco, the scampi and the chicken parm. Everyone was very happy with their meal. I would absolutely recommend Governor's House to anyone looking for an excellent meal in a friendly atmosphere."

"Absolutely loved this place! Thursdays half-priced wine menu is awesome. Came here for a date night and our expectations were exceeded. The GM makes an effort to introduce himself and talk to his customers and you can tell waitresses love their jobs. Our appetizers took longer than usual (although we didn't feel like it took a long time!) and they offered us free dessert- which were AMAZING! The fig jam on the flat bread is to die for. Definitely will be coming back and bringing more people with me next time. Thank you!!"

Half priced bottles of wine on Thursday was a pleasant surprise! 2 apps, 2 cocktails, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for less than $150. I’m impressed."
