Blue Ribbon Diner

"Truly one of the lowest tier dining experiences I've had. I ordered the classic triple stack deli sandwich, something you can get at diners anywhere and did not finish it. The bread was burnt and the sandwich in general was a bit slimy. The ham soup was also just a bit bland and weird. The fries were okay. The place felt like a limnal space. Keep moving down the turnpike"

"I was looking for a good breakfast on the way east from Indiana and picked this. Parking lot nearly full before 8:00AM, a good sign. What a good meal, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon just as I like it. There is one problem, though: it's 200 miles from my home. Hell of a trip for a meal. I'll have to look for a place to park the camper, problem solved."

"We were in town for an event at the fairgrounds and came out early Saturday morning to try this place. I wanted some eggs and bacon. If you're not getting an omelette, the options were 1 egg or 2 eggs, and I was thinking that was not much, but 2 eggs were actually a lot, considering you get hash browns and toast. My friend wanted blueberry pancakes and they were as big as your head! Everything was GREAT! We'll be back!"

"This place is really big and it was packed when I got lunch there. The Beef Manhattan was excellent... Update 6/26/2023 I stopped on a Monday for lunch, and I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with a cup of soup. The soup was delicious, and you could tell it was homemade, it was so tasty. As far as the Turkey, it was shredded instead of sliced and to be honest I like sliced much better. The shredded Turkey seemed dry to me, but the gravy helped a lot and was very tasty. The vegetables were green beans, and they were some of the best beans I have ever had. Overall, this was a great meal, and I will stop again, just next time I will order something different."
