First Florida Credit Union

"People in credit union aren’t the same as they used to be and the level of customer service isn’t rising, but is actually going to the opposite direction. I am not even a member here. I use it as a shared branch, and there is this really nice younger lady that always used to help me and another, aged lady that wears glasses - both of them are very nice and just very sweet, but I don’t see them anymore at the branch… if you get them - Your day will go better, if not: watch out! (They may not work there anymore) These new people are passive racists - that’s just the vibe I’ve been getting. This young African American lady CALLED MY NUMBER (WITHOUT ME EVER LEAVING MY NUMBER AT THE BANK) AND BLAMED ME THAT I GAVE HER A $20 INSTEAD OF A $100 IN A STACK OF MONEY THAT I DEPOSITED. (Very gangster of you, personally never even had an idea to do something like this). You’re counting the money that are in your hands and giving me a document (receipt), then depositing that money to my account, and then in about an hour you’re calling me to blame me for giving you $20. If I gave you $20 - why did you give me the receipt confirming that the amount was accurate? Very not smart… That was 1 experience that helped me understand the kind of people that are working at the branch now. Very sad that the other ladies are probably gone now, the ones I mentioned before. They were always sharp and super nice, right to the point without any of this type of nonsense. Hire and train the kind of people that will treat others with respect and courtesy and not blaming others for your own lack of professionalism and attention. I mean if you even cannot count the money - why blaming others?"

"Well, Ms. Cindy the teller was very helpful. I explained I opened up a new savings account online and did not know my acct. she asked for my Drivers license and VOILA. So far so good.I also had a brief conversation with the VP and she was also very helpful. Again so far so GOOD!"

"DO NOT BANK HERE, DO NOT GET A LOAN HERE! I'm warning you in advance! Banked here for years took 3 loans 2 of them paid off in FULL, I recently wanted to get another loan to get a car and they have changed their business practices completely the unprofessionalism is appalling now, I don't know what has happened after Covid but this business has changed, I can't even get a call back that they promised me 2 weeks ago and when I call in the calls that are answered are either dead air and released or no answer at all. If it weren't for a mortgage that I have with them I would take my business elsewhere. Warning in advance."

"The staff is unpolite, unprofessional, and nasty. I will not recommend anybody this agency of Fisrt Florida. When you look for a financial institution, you deserve to be treated well. You will not find this here. Do not lose your time."
