She was desperate for the money and was moving very soon, so she accepted the offer. He thanked her for helping him because he had a hard go of it during covid. Thought it was quite inappropriate, as well. A word of advice... business owners should not make a habit of discussing political leanings with potential clients. Just sayin'."
