"They committed to picking up a shipment, which was an old door screwed together with two pieces of particle board. I described the shipment to them ahead of time, and they scheduled the pickup. Once they arrived, there were all kinds of reasons why they couldn't pick it up and said " it's a claim waiting to happen". They may have been right, but they agreed to make the pickup after my descriptions. So they left me confused and disappointed. Used to mover to send the shipment."

"Tampa Terminal - 1 Star - My shipment was there approximately 4 days, but I was unable to schedule delivery since literally no one answers the phone. 5 Stars for Jackeline and Judi in Atlanta Customer Service :-) Both went above and beyond to get results when things had become very frustrating. Jackeline contacted the right people, and Judi was able to contact the Operations Supervisor who was able to arrange for my contractor to go and pick up so that our delayed project could finally be completed. When my contractor arrived with his truck at the Tampa terminal, the dock worker gave him a cart and said he would have to load the 400 lb shipment himself! The worker said they are woefully understaffed, and struggling to keep up with daily operations. Note to Saia leadership - No need to respond with an apology for the Tampa experience; instead, why not demonstrate your commitment to elevated service levels by adequately staffing and training team members at your Tampa terminal? Setting the tone for high level results begins at the top. Please do better."

"This "trucking" company which is located les than 45 min away, could not get my scheduled delivery, which was scheduled 4 days prior. When I spoke to the customer service, she advised there were no other trucks available, and they would need another 3 days get get my merchandise to me. What a load!!! When I spoke with the manager he gave me another story. Terrible logistics and they lie. I would never use them again, and companies who use them should beware."

"Awful company. Story below - Neither the company below Sven and Son nor the shipping company made things right. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY BUSINESS SHIPPING PRODUCTS TO USE SAIA LTL FREIGHT. If you want your company to look bad, use them, they won't disappoint. Waste of time - 100% - Probably won't even receive your mattress... Ordered split king mattress with frame for delivery. Their shipper confirmed that our order would be delivered 6/2 with a timeframe. ON 6/2 we were told that it would not be delivered until 6/9 (7 days later). We got rid of our mattress and now we have no mattress for 7 days. We completed a full-refund, the customer service team was able to do nothing, and same thing with the shipper. Overall, this was a huge waste of time, and others have seemed to have problems such as these with shipping after diving into more reviews. Neither companies were able to make things happen to help. In the end, I have no mattress now and have to wait for a refund to be processed. I rarely leave reviews, trust me - don't waste your time or money, go with a company that is reputable, established, and cares about their customers. Sven and Son clearly doesn't care that I don't have a mattress now for 7 days. Major inconvenience."
