"They use deceptive practices to get good reviews. They say in an email that if you give a review you will be “entered to receive a gift card” but there is never a mention of it being a draw and the email subject is “Give us feedback & get $25 Amazon Gift Card”… however, once you sent the review it’s a bait and switch. You don’t get a gift card. I reached out and they changed their tune to say it’s not a guarantee…deceptive marketing means you unfortunately can’t trust their reviews."

"Beware... To start, I DID pass my exam so I can't claim that the course didn't do its job. However, the course is bad. Beyond the typos and horrible wording - 1/3 of the questions on the chapter tests are NEVER mentioned in the study material!!! And several questions on the REAL exam were never covered by XCEL at all. The material itself also has lots of issues. Typos are a part of human nature but it shouldn't happen on a paid service. The wording is really awful. They explain things terribly and in a confusing manner, and then at the end of the chapter they provide a review that is the EXACT same information in a slightly less confusing way. What's the point? Like I said, I DID pass the exam so I can't say they didn't do their job but, I would not recommend them. The course is especially boring as well and, unless you're highly motivated, getting through it would be nearly impossible. Unless you're like me and were provided a serious discount code, I would look somewhere else."

"I’m giving them a 3 due to the course for Medicare/Medicaid. I had to take the test 3 times I passed by reading the notes at the end of each chapter. Life & Health were exactly like the exam I passed those on the first try"

"The worst online education program I've ever done. They claim their course is backed by a refund policy, but that only implies if you haven't opened the course. How in the hell will I know if I'm satisfied with this course if I don't open it and try. The course material doesn't match up with the exam entirely. There are questions in the exams that are not in the training and stuff on the review that was also not talked about in the training. This is a very poor site. Do not recommend."

"Compliance only verifies 2 one-hour periods a day. When you finish everything, you have to wait several hours or days until you get access to final test and comprehensive final test. If they can track your hours. Why do they need so much time to "verify". Also customer support took at least 20 minutes when I called."
