The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores

"Two days in a row, tee times backed up by an hour or more. The first day, I asked for rain checks and made a tee time for the next day and ran into the same back up of an hour or more. I asked for a refund and was told it could not be done. I had to request my rain checks back after the cleck gave me a refund receipt with zeros on it! Silver Springs is a unique layout and a challenge to play, but it is mismanaged. Six minutes between tee times? No carts available?"

"This place is very poorly ran. Booked a tee time, showed up and saw numerous people that looked like they were waiting for carts. Went inside to check in and specifically asked the guy in the pro shop if those people are all waiting to tee off. If that was the case, we weren’t going to wait forever. He told be no, they just got done with a tournament, they’re not waiting. Had a 1:24 tee time, he said we would tee off 1:30 at the latest. Paid my green fees and went down to get a cart. Employee down there says there are no carts left and those people were indeed waiting for carts and it would be at least an hour. Why would you keep tee times available online to book and furthermore why would you tell me there would be only a slight delay when I asked specifically if there would be? 100% will never golf here again. Terrible."

"The greens are in excellent shape. A lot of undulation but they were true and great. The fairways are okay. Tee boxes are very good. It’s a very user friendly course. It must’ve been management’s first day running a golf course bc they allowed a 6some ( yes, a 6some) to play as a group. That resulted in over a 5 hour round. Absolutely insane to allow that. Anyways, the course itself is good"

"Good golf course open to the public. The greens and tee boxes were in great shape. The cart paths are a little rough in places. The club house has seen better days, but the value for the experience is well worth the price of the green fees!!"

"Great place the course is amazing! Make sure you check if there is a tournament before booking a tee time though, I wish they would let you know if that was the case. Also it’s a shame that courses like this don’t acknowledge veterans."
