"When I read some of the reviews from the relatives of a 3 yr old that recently left the school I felt compelled to give an honest unbiased review. OCA and it’s staff Ms. Rath and Ms. Bloom in particular are the most genuine loving ladies I’ve ever met. My two granddaughters go this this school one of which had Ms. Bloom last year. Ms. Bloom’s patience and understanding we’re above and beyond any educational standard. The professionalism displayed by the teachers and staff is always the same no matter who the student or parent may be. Our girls have grown so much academically, spiritually, and physically in such a positive light, we couldn’t be more proud. Please don’t judge this wonderful school or it’s phenomenal staff, which has been educating our communities students for years because one parent doesn’t want to admit that her child was the problem and convinced family members to join her in her quest to hide what’s really going on in their family."

"Ever since moving to Florida my two children have attended school at Ocala Christian Academy. They have adored their teachers and can not wait to go back each day. They love learning and not only the typical school learning they love learning about the Bible. I am very blessed and pleased that my children are able to attend school here and love hearing about their day. As a parent you worry every second when you are away from your child but when they are in school I know they are in the best hands. My children will continue to attend Ocala Christian Academy."

"I do not recommend this school. My 3 year old grandson’s first time going to school was a horrible experience. His teacher was a very cold person and never had a smile on her face. The first day of school we brought him to his classroom. The teacher never greeted him or us. This is definitely not a Christian school. Always be careful where you put your children."

"I was so excited as a first time mother to have my child enrolled at a Christian school. Administration expressed their strong Christian, moral & values and would provide an advanced education for our son. We saved for 3 yrs to afford tuition and knew we wanted our son here for K-3. The shine of this “Christian“ school quickly faded after day 4. Our son came home Mon-Thurs. with green stars every day for good behavior. Friday morning he had a bit of anxiety leaving his mommy once again for Day 5 in a row. Keep in mind I have been with my son since birth and primary caretaker along with his daddy. School started at 7:30 AM and I received a call at 7:45 AM that our son would not stop crying and I need to immediately pick him up. When I arrived I was concerned that something was very wrong for them to call me to come get my son, so I asked the school what was going on and the teacher simply said that he was experiencing separation anxiety and he would need to go home for the afternoon. When I brought him to school on Monday morning the teacher requested that I stay and sit with him in the classroom to see if he would adjust a little bit better. After 10 minutes I decided to leave as class was starting. My son started to sob mommy was leaving. Once again, the school did not offer any type of help or possible solution since they are supposedly the experts in child education and I am a new mom. Keep in mind this is the second time only he has cried and 10 minutes into the school day. My husband decided to bring him to school on Tuesday with the thought that maybe our son would do better with daddy dropping him off. When he arrived at the school the pre-K Director was very surprised to see him and said, “ oh hello, I see you are back here again today, are you here to pick up your child’s belongings?” Being every bit of confused and concerned my husband asked what she was referring to. She implied that my son was not developmentally on par with the rest of the students and it was decided, without or say, it would be best that he does not stay at the school. When he asked the pre-K Director why our son received four happy faces and no complaints the week prior and all of a sudden they are telling us that my son can no longer go to the school at 3yrs old we were extremely sad and disappointed as we have been looking forward to this for so long. My husband came home and we decided to call the school to see about a possible meeting with the administration so we can have our questions answered as to why this was happening. We have never received a call back to this day and no explanation was provided. Simply a simple text message from the school stating we needed to stop by and disenroll our son. This is the absolute worst experience I could’ve ever imagined from A “Christian” school that claims to have our students best interest in mind. Keep in mind that my husband and all of his five siblings attended the school successfully and my husband was excited for his son to return to the school that he went to as a young man. I would never in my wildest dream recommend the school to anybody as it has completely gone downhill over the years and is not the same school any longer."

"This is the absolute worst school I could have ever chosen for my child. My child was literally asked to leave the school within the first week after receiving all green faces Monday through Thursday. What a complete scam of money hungry, “Christians” Who promised that we were making the right decision After the founders son Andy Bloom was just on stage in the chapel a week earlier feeding us his well rehearsed lines of “we are here to partner with you to provide the best education possible for your student and we are an extension of the child’s home life” . That absolutely could not be any further from the truth. The school provides zero explanation for the reasoning and simply does whatever they wish. When we requested a call from administration to see exactly what was going on they just completely ignored us like we were nothing but they were quick to take our check"
