"We had an incredible experience with Manatees in Paradise. We booked the deluxe tour to swim with the manatees in February. Derek and Sean were amazing guides and truly cared about the health and wellbeing of the manatees. My mother is a little older and was unable to swim so Sean kept her company while sharing info on the wildlife. My husband and I snorkeled and swam with SO MANY manatees! We had up close experiences while practicing passive observation. We were even lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins feeding! To say it was a magical experience would be an understatement - this is a bucket list experience that I will be reflecting on for a long time. We would book with Manatees in Paradise again!"

"Had an absolutely amazing day!! Our guides took us to a place in Crystal River where we were able to respectfully swim near manatees in their natural habitat. Can’t say enough about the experience, but also how our guides were so conscious about the experience being thoughtful with respect to the manatees. Manatees in Paradise is a certified guardian guide, as they follow guidelines from the Save the Manatee foundation. This means they are the standard for ethical and conscious viewing of manatees. for this alone they are worth your time! Thank you to Derek and Jake!!…and of course to the manatees! "My fiancé and I went on a semi-private tour this morning, and it ended up being just the two of us along with Captain Jake and Guide Sean. It was hands down one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever had! The boat was clean and comfortable. Sean helped find tons of manatees to float by and got lots of great pictures! It can be intimidating swimming with such large creatures but Sean showed us how to stay cool, calm, and collected in the water and get the most out of it. The guys were so kind and genuinely want you to have a good experience. I’d highly recommend Manatees in Paradise to anyone looking for a little adventure."

"Skip the crowded big boats! This trip is 6 people maximum and very one on one personal! Dec 2023 I took my 9 year old grand daughter and my 7 year old grand son. It was just us on this particular day., so perfect! Jake and Shaun were so sweet to the kids. Grandson was a bit nervous about everything but after he got in the water, Jake got him to relax and he really loved the interaction with the manatee. Jake and Shaun were so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife in the bay. They are also very in tune to the welfare and safety of the manatee! Jake showed us how to let the manatee interact wth us! A baby one and his mom played around with us for about 45 minutes! (Bc we were quiet and didn't spook them) We also encountered numerous manatee near Three Sisters Springs. The kids learned so much. I have been on 4 manatee swims. THIS was by far the best! It was nice not being in a huge group! We got great one on one attention. The wetsuits were really nice and warm. One thing I think they should change? Hot coffee and hot chocolate should definitely be on board! Shaun was great with grandson after he got back on the boat. Got him warm and dry and found him a snack. Grandson said he LOVED it all! Grand daughter and I stayed in the water as long as we could. Lol. She has decided that she wants to be a manatee when she grows up! I hope I have lit a fire in them and started a love affair with nature for them. Seriously could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks to Jake and Shaun and Manatees in Paradise for our awesome experience swimming wth the manatees! I can not praise Jake and Shaun enough. The captain and the first mate make or break a trip like this and believe me...these guys MADE our trip great! (We even shared our snacks wth the guys! The kids enjoyed that part too!) If you want a great experience, this is the company to pick! Nature might not cooperate (weather, manatees, no one can predict that) but Jake and Shaun worked to make our trip the best! ♥️ ♥️ thanks, guys!"

"Captain Jake & Shawn were the most wonderful manatee hosts! They were very passionate about Manatee safety, but also very calm and laid back. We went a few places to locate some more active manatees to spend time with. We loved our time so much, we are going back in a couple of days! You will love any excursion with these two!"
