American Pro Diving Center-Swim With Manatees

"My family and I have came all the way down from Canada to come see the most amazing once in a lifetime experience to see Manatees. We are staying at Cocoa beach and the timing to get from there to here is a perfect 2 hour ride. Upon getting there, we were very happy to be greeted by friendly staff who gave us instructions and suited us up with wet suits and snorkels before heading to the docks. Our Captain, John and Ryan our guide was very helpful and very knowledgeable. They were very fun to be with and definitely gave us a good laugh during our time. The Manatees were so precious to see and it was definitely a great time for my family and I to witness! Thank you for making our time here a memorable memory! ❤️"

"My family of 5 did the manatee snorkel in the morning and rainbow river snorkel in the afternoon. Captains Bruce and John were great in the morning and we were lucky enough to have Captain John in the afternoon. Both were extremely patient with our active kids. We felt safe and had an amazing experience with both trips. Highly recommend American Pro and will definitely visit again. Captain John took pictures and video for the manatee swim, which was available for purchase when we got back to the shop. Totally worth it so we didn't have to take pictures, but lived in the moment."

"I was traveling into Tampa and had an extra day that opened up. I decided to find a dive spot, to fit in. After a couple of initial calls to other dive centers, I was able to get in touch with American Pro Diving and they hooked me up!!! They were able to accommodate my last-minute request and get everything arranged. All I had to do was show up. It was just me and John, one of the captains and dive masters. The whole dive shop was great, super friendly, and took care of everything for me since I was traveling in from out of state. John was perfect to dive with. Very easygoing, but yet professional and safety first at all times. Our first dive was at Blue Grotto and our second dive was at Devil's Den. Both were unique and well worth it. We were also fortunate that there were only a couple of other divers at both spots, so the water remained calm, silt-free and clear, and we were able to travel along at our leisure. John also was great about explaining the history of the area, the dive spots, what to expect, and ensuring we saw everything possible during both dives. I will travel back to the area just to dive! My only call will be to American Pro Diving to set up other dive experiences."

"Excellent experience! We went snorkeling with manatees with Girl Scouts. Captain John and Captain Ryan were so great. They were very clear with instructions, had excellent manatee knowledge, and full of humor and kindness. The manatees did not disappoint either! There was a mama and a calf and plenty of others. The hot chocolate on the boat after the swim was the perfect touch."

"Saw American Pro Diving Center Snorkeling with Manatees on Rix Flix YouTube channel and knew we had to go. We went out with Captain’s John and Bruce and had an amazing adventure. American Pro Diving Center makes it easy on first timers and also ensures experienced divers have a blast too. I can’t count how many manatees I saw that’s how many there were. Great company with a great staff. First rate the entire way."
