"Date of Stay: May 28 – June 5, 2022 Villa Gordian is described in its website as “Unforgettable,” and it certainly lives up to the hype! My wife and I stayed at this beautiful property as a couple’s getaway. We’re no stranger to VRBO and similar vacation rentals – and this one is soundly head and shoulders above the rest. This home is in a gated community with very personable security guards. Getting the parking pass was no muss, no fuss. We had zero issues getting in and out of the development. To say they thought of everything is an understatement. They thought of things that I didn’t even know I wanted! We are accustomed to the standard “1 role of paper towels and a couple of garbage bags” situation. In fact, we’re so used to that, we normally stock up before checking in. We were pleasantly surprised to find an extremely well stocked home from garage to pool enclosure. Garage door openers were readily available, and in the garage – a yeti cooler (big) in case we went to the beach. There weren’t a few poorly kept floatation devices around, there were SHELVES of well-cared for and well inflated toys for the pool. And a USB rechargeable inflator! The laundry room had a pantry with anything you could need. Batteries, bags, cleaning supplies, detergent and fabric softeners. The kitchen had absolutely everything. A variety of cutting boards with Cuisinart cutlery? Check. Coffee and filters? Check. High end blender? Check. A grand assortment of spices (some that I don’t even have in my home)? Check! Very modern setup with modern appliances, too. The living room was just as pictured with smart TV and sound system. We didn’t have a need for the sound system, but the TV worked with all our online accounts. The bedrooms all have smart tv’s and one of them serves as an office – with computer peripherals including cables and a printer! The master bath was better than home. My wife raved at the boxes of make-up remover and quality bath salts. I liked the plush robes. The walk-in closet had extras for anything you could need. Towels, pillows, sheets -everything. It was all labeled. The switches around the house are labeled and there are clear instructions for everything you could use. The master bedroom has a large pedestal style TV. We decided to move it outside one night for pool-side viewing. (That’s a two-person job). What fun! The large sliding glass door between the living room and the lanai provided a lovely open atmosphere that was easy to close off when the heat got to be too much. The pool – oh the pool! There is a very nice waterfall fountain that keeps the water circulating and warm. The property layout allows for absolute privacy in the pool. There are hedges and plants in all the right places to prevent any prying eyes. We could hear the neighbors now and then, but we couldn’t see them, nor them us. The appointing of the pool was excellent, too. None of those PVC furniture pieces. It was rattan loungers and wrought iron dining. Very nice. Communication with Bob and Sandra was second to none! They were prompt, patient, and accommodating and we could not have asked for more gracious hosts. Kudos to their customer service! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Have no doubts about the quality of this place. Book it! Chris"
