Mountains to Shores Vacation Rentals 1917 Southeast 26th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904

"One of the very nicest houses I have ever visited anywhere, with smashing water views and a very beautiful location on Venice Beach and setting. The 10 of us had a wonderful, memorable stay. We'd definitely come back if the occasion ever presented itself. Having said that, there were a number of quirks that we dealt with, but were still surprising or annoying. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, which was fine, but oddly one of the bedrooms was a pass-through unless you walked around it outdoors. The hot tub was decommissioned because the piping from the pool heater no longer supported the hot tub and the swimming pool at the same time. The high-end kitchen had a 42-inch SubZero refrigerator-freezer, Dynasty range, and a mini-geeenhouse at the large kitchen sink. However, the plastic arm that tells the icemaker it is full had broken and was sitting loose in the freezer, so the ice kept overflowing. There was a high-end 4-slice pop-up toaster but no toaster oven. The standard but low-end Mr. Coffee 10-cup coffeemaker was missing a set screw from the bottom of the handle, we discovered, and the glass carafe almost fell when it was full of hot coffee; we put the handle and metal ring back on the glass carafe properly but it came loose the next morning again. The kitchen/dining-room table seated only 6 people, 8 max with extra chairs pulled over. Very odd for a house that sleeps 12 people (with two separate bunk beds in the "kids" room). The hot water tank for the two nicest en-suite bedrooms was not working at all the day we arrived, and then on its own began working properly 36 hours later, but the bathroom for the primary (master) bedroom never was able to get enough hot water for a proper shower. The large TV over the fireplace did not have a standard cable box that you would expect in a snazzy house like this one. Some "local" channels were available, but to watch the PBS NewsHour or the Suoer Bowl, for example, we had to figure out how to use the Fubo app on our smartphone and drive the large TV that way. But to repeat, we would still love to stay there again! It's a wonderful house."

"We had a wonderful time for Thanksgiving with our family. The location was great and the water views spectacular. The home was spacious and very comfortable for seven adults and one teenager. There were two things that would have made it even better. One is additional baking and cookware. When cooking a larger meal, like Thanksgiving, a few more items would have been helpful. Secondly, the heater for the pool and hot tub was not functioning properly. I reached out to the management company but did not receive any response. They were very responsive prior to our arrival so I assume it was because of the holiday. Still, it was disappointing to not have heat for the hot tub and pool. If those two items were corrected, I would absolutely give it 5 stars!"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Venice house while down in Florida for a memorial service for my mother. Dolphins daily and the kids caught a variety of fish. The house is very spacious and was perfect for our family. Had issues with the hot tub temp but Kasha was quick to respond. The only issue we had was trying to find the light switch (we didn't find it) to the spotlight that was pointing directly into the neighbors house. A guide to the light switches would be a bonus, there must be 50 or more. Would recommend and visit again. Thanks!"

"Absolutely wonderful stay!! The house was clean, everything was stocked, the pool was amazing, the house was stunning and nicely decorated, and the hosts were always reachable. My whole family stayed including the dogs. HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful home in Cape Coral! Very close to Sanibel Island and other hidden Florida gems."

"Very nice and spacious! Beautiful views from the backyard! Several dolphins were seen from the backyard. We bought fishing licenses and fished from the backyard. My grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the pool table. Great beaches nearby. We really appreciated that beach gear was provided. Lots of cute shops downtown. Kasha responded quickly to our questions and notified us of an item left behind We would definitely stay here again!"
