"We stayed at Porto Al Mare (3938 SW 17th Avenue, Cape Coral) for two weeks during the summer of 2023. The canal connects to the Spreader Canal at Surfside. It was great using a Kayak and paddling to the Spreader. I really enjoyed the location and the floor plan of this property was ideal with four bedrooms—in three separate areas. Having a garage was great too. The property and decor was as pictured. Unfortunately we ran into a roach issue that seems to be limited to the kitchen, so hopefully that’s resolved by now they told us it was palmetto bugs, but these critters were clearly German cockroaches as identified by the exterminator they sent—that is a real plus the managers were responsive. It was great that the property owners did send the exterminator to try to resolve the issue. It just made us feel icky— we were constantly cleaning the kitchen and surfaces and dishes. Not how we planned on spending our vacation. There were a few maintenance issues at this property too. Most were handled during our stay. Again the property managers were quick to try to resolve the issues in most cases. Some of the mattresses made a crunching noise with any body movement, making it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. A real downer for me was having to go outside of the lanai to turn the spa on and off. It was a bit of a challenge to figure it out. But—and I say this with some enthusiasm—it was wonderful that they had the pool and spa."

"We stayed at a Vesteva property in Cape Coral through Airbnb and it was the worst experience. The house was dirty (bed linens weren’t clean and carpet not vacuumed) and it was also infested with fleas. By the time we realized there were fleas we had got bitten multiple times and immediately left. After notifying Airbnb we received a full refund. Will never stay at a property managed by this company again."

"overall a great place to stay. we stayed in the Aloha Cove which was beautiful. the only thing that went wrong for us was that my husband was showering in the master bathroom and he simply shut the glass door and it shattered everywhere. he was left with cuts on his hands and feet. they came and cleaned it all up but I thought they could’ve done a better job at accommodating us for that. luckily he wasn’t hurt any worse ..."

"*EDITED* Dec 2019: We loved our Vesteva rental in Cape Coral so much, we came back 8 months later for another week in a different villa. This time we stayed at Bonita Breeze and it was perfection. What a gorgeous house!! Everything was wonderful. Another great experience. Already planning our 3rd trip! Just enjoyed an incredible week at Casa Maria with my family. Everything was stunning, super clean, and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze and when our pool motor crapped out on a weekend, Vesteva had a repair man there on a SUNDAY MORNING to fix it. We were VERY impressed. I literally booked our 2020 Vesteva villa from a lounge chair at Casa Maria. My kids and I are excited to try a new villa each year!"

"The rental experience was easy and pleasant, Vesteva Rentals staff was very responsive, respectful, and helpful. That experience set up the rest of the trip! We arrived at the house and were blown away with the cleanliness, view, amenities! The attention to detail was visible! The house we stayed in (Southern Comfort) has a mango tree and an avocado tree! Made our days even better! The mangos kept dropping and we kept eating them, the sweetest mangos I’ve ever eaten and I’m from the Caribbean! The house was equipped with every gadget we could possibly need, everything was functional! Plenty of towels and sheets available and all clean and in great condition. The instructions were clear and easy to follow in regards to check in and checkout as well as garbage and other logistics of renting a home. I will definitely visit again! My family had a blast! We went during 4th of July for a week and the fire works were beautiful in every direction, we didn’t have to leave the safety and comfort of home!"
