"I work in taylor farms for almost two year and they treat you like family, love my co-workers."
"I worked there. It is in a freezer working environment. The floor is constantly wet with water and chemicals for sanitization Taylor Farms does not provide waterproof shoes nor do they require them when you work so your first week you work with wet freezing feet. it is predominantly Haitian and Dominican and English is not spoken while working. Most do not make more than $9 an hour I did not at least I can say that for a fact. I work through a temp agency that constantly had my hours and pay less than what I was supposed to make and constantly they are trying to owe me money.. Eventually I got sick with near pneumonia and when I return with a doctor's note I was refused back to work. Taylor Farms is like a near sweatshop but in a freezer environment like I said. Most of the equipment doesn't work properly and this includes sanitization equipment I know where I work all the lettuce had to be shot through a conveyor that rents it off and this did not work it just was a procedure that we did to make it look like the lettuce was being washed off. it reminds me of a company that's going to be on American Greed the way that they push their employees and disrespect them. there's a lady that walks around with all pink and she's loud and she's rude and she makes your job and your life miserable there she's fake she doesn't say hello and when she does it's loud and boisterous and just not inviting. I feel bad for those that work there but then again they need to employ some English-speaking people with some proper pay rates. Taylor Farms takes advantage of non-english speaking people and those that are desperate for work that speak English that have to take such job for little money and pay for their own hard hat their own waterproof shoes for less than $9 an hour and work in a freezer??!! Does it sound like some place you would want to work or you want to be a customer at.? They make all the sandwiches for Wawa Walmart Target a lot of retailers sandwiches and pre-packaged Foods that's what Taylor Farms does"
