"I just want to be completely clear of why I am giving a five star rating so that no one misunderstands that I am not giving Lake House Apartments a five star rating, but I am ONLY giving this five star rating directly to Mr. Tim the maintenance guy because he deserves more than just five stars with the impeccable work that he does when he goes to do service calls for the tenants. He did an amazing job fixing the measurement on the bottom of my bedroom door. This is a request that I have asked to be done when I moved here, and it took an honorable man to resolve the problem. He is truly a man of his word and I respect him so much. They don’t give these him enough respect and credit he truly deserves. Thank you so very much Mr. Tim!!"
"After reading the previous reviews I was skeptical but Chessie was extremely helpful, kind, honest and thorough from the very beginning. She proved that she truly cares. She made sure to answer any questions and address any concerns I had. Thank you, Chessie! Also, Maintenance really stood out. I put in a request at 9:30am and by 10:30am they arrived with a plan and got straight to work, they also took the time to explain the plan and were extremely knowledgeable."

Tim is a consummate professional who takes great pride in his work and goes above and beyond to ensure complete customer satisfaction. From the moment I contacted Tim with my maintenance request, I could tell that I was dealing with someone who is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He was prompt in his response and scheduling, showing a deep understanding of the urgency of certain maintenance issues. "DO NOT MOVE HERE! This place should be condemned. This place is not fit for people. Kenisha the property manger is absent, she is always on "vacation". The office staff never answers the phone! NEVER! And Chessie, the assistant manager is absolutely horrible. The 1 bedroom is listed with a washer and dryer in the unit and when I moved in, there was no washer and dryer, after having my move in date was moved a month to add the washer and dryer. Then they wouldn't discount the rent after my lease stated that the washer and dryer was an additional $125 a month. They commit false advertising and I had to threaten taking legal action for them to add the washer and dryer. The units are roach infested and if you think, "oh, I'll just keep my house clean." NO! You can clean every day and night, never leave food out and you will still have roaches crawling on your ceiling, on the walls and floors. The units are also wet and moldy. The AC units barley work and if the unit goes down and you open a ticket, they wont come for days. Leaving tenant in an 83 degree units. My AC unit would go down at least once a week towards the end of my lease. And if you think going to the office will help, Chessie will inform you that AC units are not an emergency. So if you have children or pets, them being in a hot, moldy apartment for days on end is not an emergency. The AC units leak black smelly water and the air that comes out has a moldy smell. I even had the mold tested and it came back as black mold. I shared the results with the manager and she did nothing. The ceilings leak, I had a black moldy spot above my shower head for months before they finally came to "fix'' it and only because I threatened to call code enforcement. And all the maintenance man did was cut out the old plaster and repaint it so the mold came right back. I had no smoke detector for months, even after informing the manager that having a smoke detector is a Florida state statue, I had a large hole with live wires coming out. You get charge for trash, but no trash company comes. The trash is piled outside and is overflowing. You will see rats and racoons every night! And yes, I said rats. You can sometimes hear them running in the ceiling if you're on the first floor. Please look with enough time for a place to live, so you don't have to settle for a place like this. This place is horrible and you will absolutely regret moving here. And don't be swayed by the promotions, like first month free, it's a trap. Why would they be offering free months.. tenants cut their leases because they can't stand to live here. They even have a mattress in between two building... Wonder what's happening there. The staff does nothing to stop random people and drugs from coming into the community. The gate does not work, it's only for show. I can go on and on about this place. And the property manager Kenisha is not the owner but she will NEVER give you any information about HER boss so you can escalate any of your concerns with the owner. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the pain and suffering you will get if you move here. Start looking early for a decent home. This place is a hazard. I've also reported them to code enforcement and shared all the photo's below. I also added a picture of what my place looked like when I lived there so you can see it was always clean and tidy and still had roaches and rats. So PLEASE PLEASE don't make the mistake I did. I truly hope the owner see's this review and terminates Kenisha and Chessie, they're going to get you sued and are a liability to your business. Neither should be working in any type of customer service or anywhere near housing. Ms. Reed, Ms. Williams, I hope you do better."
"Where do I begin, first I wish I was able to give them zero stars because they don’t even deserve 1 star. Been living at lake house formerly known as Crystal lakes apartments for 2 1/2 years and it started off good because the first group of maintenance workers was good and now the ones that’s working there barely respond to your request because they rather hang around and chit chat. First, the leasing office workers are HORRIBLE they refuse to answer your call and COVID been over but they want people to set an appointment because they never there and their customer service is nasty and terrible they do not care about the tenants at all from the manager and on down to the leasing agents. Was dealing with a leaking cracked ceiling since last year and they did not fixed it at all went to the leasing office, called them, sent emails nothing was done at all. And make matters worst it started creating mold and the maintenance supervisor by the name of Wayne came looked at it took pictures and said the roofers will be out and till the day I moved out no roofers came out to fix nothing. I spent countless days at a hotel because I couldn’t deal with the water dripping all day and night because I wake up for work at 4am. I advise anyone looking for an apartment please DON’T lease with Lake House Apartments it’s not nice how you see the outside, you’ll deal with roaches the pest control barely come out and other maintenance issues for months on, potholes in the parking lot and parking issues when you come home at night. When I asked Chessie to move me to another unit till my lease is up and she said I’ll have to pay $1,900 for what reason. So any out of towners or Florida residents please DON’T go put your hard earned money leasing at Lake House Apartments go somewhere else where you’ll be appreciated and situations will be handled as a tenant."
