The Pomelo

"I am giving the pomelo 1 star due to professionalism of running a property. 6 Months into living at the pomelo and this has been the most unprofessional building I’ve experienced so far in Miami . Between dog poops in the elevators , side walks, stairs and hallways. The security for the gate is managed poorly. There has been multiple car breakins. The hallways are stink. Recommendations: HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO ENSURE SAFETY OF THE COMPLEX AND CLEANLINESS. *REDUCE THE PRICE OF THE RENT UNTIL THIS PLACE IS ACTUALLY A FORM OF LUXURY."

"My experience at this community has been not pleasant at all, I’ll describe some of the main reasons you should not waste your money renting an apartment here. 1. The area is so so bad, people get killed, delinquency, robbery, etc. 2. The stadium is a nightmare, if there is an event of game forget about going out or trying to get into your “home” 3. Maintenance in the apartments is bad, elevators and hallways always dirty, dogs poop everywhere, walls not clean, doors not working, the elevator in Building 3 was out for over a month, imagine me living on a sixth floor with a five months olds baby, and what they did about it, NOTHING. They didn’t care. 4. Pool gets closed because of water not being appropriate treated. 5. Packages are stolen from the mail room, and of course nobody is responsible for it. 6. The cars get scratches because your neighbors don’t care about anything. 7. Very overpriced for what it offers. 8. Washer and dryer machine are cheap so they damage the clothes. 9. Constant electrical issues with A/C 10. Lack of security, gates stop working so anyone can get in. Before taking a decision about moving at The Pomelo, please look at the lastest comments and you’ll find out I’m not the only one complaining. Don’t waste your money. Stay away."
