"Extremely poor property management, Keyra Ruiz-Colon is the only employee and company representative holding together a sinking ship. Application. The application was mostly easy, until suddenly our rent changed mid-application which we did not understand. John, our application advisor, was completely useless in explaining this change. Keyra however, fixed it and we learned it was John’s mistake. There was a complete lack of communication from John. It was only when we switched our communication channel to only Keyra did we receive feedback, get our approval, and set up our move in date. Apartment was not well cleaned, but most importantly the microwave was not functioning. This went against the move-in condition our lease stated. We submitted a maintenance request on 01/06/24, work was not completed until early Feb. We paid a months rent for a condition that property management broke the lease to. Maintenance and particularly Santonio. This man is unprofessional, and conducts himself and his work in violation of Century Millenia’s lease agreement, OSHA standards, and overall is entirely out of compliance. We had another maintenance issue in which our laundry washing machine in unit was repeatedly breaking. We submitted an emergency repair request on 01/29/24. The unit was replaced 3 weeks later due to me escalating the matter to Keyra directly. Upon replacing the washing machine, Santonio left his keys and phone inside our apartment unit. He demanded me and my roommate to leave work to open the door for him. We had replaced our door with an expensive smart lock handle, however since he opened it the first time it was no longer working. After demanding we leave work, we waited 8 minutes in the leasing office. Once he arrived, he snapped at me and my roommate that the door wasn’t opening, and then disappeared, in which we saw him drive off. Keyra was unfortunately assisting another tenant, so while I wanted to report this unprofessionalism then, we complied and headed to our unit, stunned by the way he treated and dismissed us. Our handle would turn, but the door would not unlock. We believed there was an issue with the deadbolt. Santonio’s response was to drill it, not seek out the extra key the leasing office should have. He got his tools and begins drilling the door, when suddenly he stops and says “I have an idea” and then disappears. 15 minutes later, using our own tools from our cars, me and my roommate wedged our own door open. However a minute later, Santonio comes walking out, smiling, from my roommate’s personal bedroom. He had climbed up a ladder, to our second floor window, with no safety gear or precautions, and entered our home. His defense was “most people leave their windows unlocked, and drilling was taking too long.” Let me reiterate, he did not request our permission, the property manager’s permission, he fully made this decision on his own. I requested he replace the handle and deadbolt, and me and my roommate went to the leasing office and to Keyra. I cannot describe enough how helpful Keyra was at this time. As two young women me and my roommate were extremely distraught. While I always maintain a calm composure, I made it clear this needed to be escalated to HR. Any issues people seem to have with Keyra, I promise it’s more so directed to whoever Keyra’s supervisor is, as the corporate level is where the true incompetence is. Keyra is not given the tools to properly manage her staff, if she had them this property would be perfect. She comforted us and dropped everything to escalate this issue as far as she could. We spent 90 minutes with her and taking up her time, though in no way did she make us feel like a bother. Santonio also never replaced our deadbolt, leaving us with an unsafe, unstable deadbolt as our only form of home protection. Please let my experience educate you, and if you are a current tenant that believes you have problems with Keyra, I promise you do not. Take the time to talk with her and you’ll realize in no way has she been set up for success."

Keyra helped my son and i 3 years ago to move here Her customer service is out of this world ask for Her! Don’t bother talking to John he will referrer you to Keyra. Location is amazing the inside of the Apartments are beautiful. Groundskeeper is amazing but adults need to clean after their dogs!"
