The Crest at Altamonte

"Please don’t let the fake reviews fool you, this place is HORRIBLE and is the furthest example of “luxury.” The office staff are professional con artists and will tell you whatever to get you to sign lease, to then give you an apartment not suitable for anyone to live in.. Take a look around the complex and see how many vacant apartments there are, people constantly leave before their lease ends because of how bad it is!! Which I would assume is the reason they just throw people into these apartments. The apartment they originally showed me on my tour has been vacant all year, so I can assume they only use it to snake people into liking their apartment.. I’ve found roaches, snakes, and other insects inside my home. There’s no ventilation in the kitchen, so every time you cook you pretty much risk poisoning yourself and your family. That also goes for your bathroom, so it stinks up really easy. You can find mold in the apartment, as well as flooding issues during storm season, they even left me sandbags from the previous tenant. Bulletproof walls? YEAHH RIGHT!! I have to live my life with music or the TV on because you literally hear EVERYTHING. Even a 5lb dog walking around in the apartment above you. You pay trash fee so they can leave a mess at your front door and leave bags bc TWO is their limit, yet one bag doesn’t even fit in the can. They also leave mountains of trash bags all over the neighborhood whenever they feel like not completing their work. The dumpster area looks like the city dump, and it barely ever works. They complain about people not picking up dog poop but go MONTHS without cleaning the trash cans. They even took some out so they have less to worry about. They don’t take care of the trees, they just wait until it rains so it can fall on your car causing damages. They’ll even leave full blown trees in the middle of the road for months before they think of picking it up. I can keep going but I’ll leave it for another day, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!!!"

The neighborhood is in a great location, the apartment was in good condition considering it was non-renovated, and the leasing staff is very friendly and helpful. We've had Noah helping us through the entire process, and he was very professional, answered all of our questions, and never felt like a leasing agent who was repeating practiced lines. He was a joy to work with, and even remembered our faces when we came back to see the unit before move-in. Overall, great experience being here so far and I hope it will continue that way."

"As someone who currently rents here I am in love with this place. So many amazing amenities and the neighborhood is so beautiful and quiet. The apartment we rent is the two story one and we love it. It is super sound proof we can never hear our neighbors. If your looking for a place to rent I highly recommend this one. It is right next to everything. Form universal it's 20 mins from Disney 30-35 and everything is right next door.!!"
