"Nice apartments as far as the buildings themselves. HOWEVER, THE SMELL IS AWFUL. I lived there for 13 months (facing south) and EACH TIME I went outside it smelled. Office staff always said they were buying the pig farm and the smell will go away. THAT WAS 5 YEARS AGO. My theroy on the smell was the Tampa "Solid Waste Transfer Station" (another word for DUMP) is about 1 mile away and the smell is more of a garbage smell. I lived in Colorado and Oklahoma and smelled farms but this smell is closer to garbage. I also had a 16 or 17 year old neighbor living with his "auntie" as he called her. They had a HUGE, LOUD fight, she moved out and he stayed. Music was so loud at 2-5 am. He was always coming home with shopping bags of designer clothes, Detective once drove through asking about his car, obviously selling drugs. Office told me there was nothing they could do about a 17 year old blasting loud music, recommended I call sheriff, sherriff's dept said they do not respond to loud music complaints. The snakes are true but mostly red rat and corn snakes (non poisionous) I am sure the questionable youth is gone but did not like the way the office handled it AND I AM SURE THE SMELL IS STILL THERE. Before renting take a walk around and don't believe the sales people when they tell you the smell will be gone in a few months. lol."
