"You’ll be ducking and dodging bullets from gun fights. You’ll be actively participating in family gatherings etc while watching people climb the fences and break into your vehicles. Also, you’ll get to know LPD very well and talk on first name basis due to all the calls in this place. Do not get me started on the upkeep. Apartment filled with mold and was told to find someone else to fix it and it would be deducted from our rent. Was told mold is ok, to just get MORE cleaning supplies. Even though the office is fully aware that both my son and I are allergic to it. Was told our place was cleaned and updated. Broken fridge, countertops cracking and coming off of the walls, air vents are disgusting and need replaced along with the mold being removed. Instead of patching things on walls, they use tape and then paint over the “damage.” Been told for 6 months the gates would be fixed, still not done. Can’t use facilities that we pay $89 a month for but also have to pay $25 for a key to get in them. So yeah there’s that too. Also can’t even use the pool due to over crowding from overflow of surrounding neighborhoods. DO NOT MOVE HERE, if you value yours and your children’s safety and health. Not worth it, find a better complex! Also they are now section 8. Be prepared as no one was advised until the disorderly conduct started happening along with never being able to enjoy at the minimum the pool and the over flow of garbage on the grounds and at the dumpster! Literally deserves no stars."

"Do NOT live here. I have been dealing with leaks in my apartment since August, it is now January. I have written several emails, have called many times, sent pictures and they act like they will do something then never follow through. I now have everything in both closets(I have a 2 bedroom) getting mold on them. I have mold on the walls in the bedroom as well and they don't care to even check it out. There is mold up in the air vents. I have had maintenance requests and they will complete them in the system, yet never come to fix anything. If it was their own place I'm sure they would treat it differently. Go elsewhere if you need a place to live."

"Honestly, place is pretty great. I have moved around a LOT of places in my adult life so far & this was one of the more painless experiences. Premises look great, generally well-maintained and the apartments are fine. Idk what all the other reviews are talking about with maintenance requests getting ignored, because mine were always pretty promptly fixed. All the staff is friendly. Pool is great, fitness center is good. I cleaned up my apartment fairly well when I left and got my whole (only $250) security deposit back, so yay. I only have a few complaints and they’re minor. There is kind of a big problem with dog poop, and management is aware, as they sent out emails on multiple occasions admonishing against it, but I’m not sure if they can do much to fix it. I would constantly have to tell my 3yo to dodge piles of poop when he played outside in the grass - some residents just seem not to care at all. In fact most of the problems here are probably just the fault of some residents and not the management itself. Some friday/saturday nights there’d be a loud group of people in the parking lot hooping & hollering at 3am which was very annoying, but thankfully it was seldom on a regular basis. The trash always piles up in front of the dumpster on sundays for some reason; since there’s no trash service here, I guess people can’t be bothered to throw their garbage in the chute properly, so that gets a bit disgusting. I feel sorry for the trash men that must have to clean that up every week. Oh, and the hot tub was NEVER operational even once through the 2 years I lived there. I really wish they would’ve fixed that, idk why they even have it if it’s just for decoration, but whatever. Don’t let that discourage you though if you find a deal on rent here - it’s a fine apartment complex all things considered. All in all north lakeland is not my favorite place to be, but at least this place was plenty decent."

"When I moved into the apartment, it was dirty and unkempt. The floors were filthy, and the appliances were not clean. There were even hairs that had been painted over by management. I had to clean for hours before I could even move in. At least 25% of the amenities listed in the ads are out of order. The pool is always dirty, the equipment throughout the community is run down or broken there is no in between. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone."
