Lake Sumter Apartments

"I moved in during the early months of 2021 and I must say I should have and would have renewed my lease had I not been offered a position in a different city. These buildings were practically brand new , the maintenance crew was amazing, and (even though the phone hardly worked at the office) everyone was very polite. I have yet to experience the attentiveness and hard work shown at lake Sumter apartments. Thank you all."

"Back when we moved in 2021, this neighborhood was so nice and peaceful. It was always clean and taken care of. Fast forward to a couple of years later, multiple break ins of my vehicle, theft, break ins, trash everywhere all the time, hallways are dirty and unkept. Dog poop right by the buildings. Honestly it’s a mess and it’s quite gross. Management doesn’t care and doesn’t try to fix or improve anything. The only good thing this place has it’s the maintenance team, other than that… Don’t move here!!!"

"2021 Once again, a job well done! I’ve been living here for over 18 months, and while there have been a couple of issues~like any apartment or home~ going through management or maintenance I’m guaranteed it will be taken care of both timely and correctly! There are definitely things that need attention in the complex as a whole. The apartments aren’t even 2 yrs old so everything was new when I moved in. Certainly can’t complain there! However, The inside of the buildings themselves are consistently just DIRTY! Yes, they’re open air buildings but seriously, they’ve only been blown out about 4x since I’m here. Dirt blows into the hall and just stays there. Landscapers blow the clippings in and it stays there. The spider and cobwebs in the corners by the ceiling are all over the place in the halls and postal areas!! And then there are some of the residents that just don’t care and leave their garbage and cigarette butts in the hall!! Or their trash outside the compactor if it’s full! It’s actually EMBARRASSING to have company over. Would Corporate employees be proud to have guests over and have them see that?? I can honestly say I don’t know HOW Corporate expects A) ONE trash compactor to be enough for this many people. B)How Corporate is Aware of the conditions I’ve just written, and as anyone can see, it’s a manpower shortage. And yet you refuse to hire a Full Time cleaning person!!! It warrants at LEAST that!! You have the elevators cleaned regularly….but not the rest of the common areas?!? I see someone else posted pictures and they’re all accurate ( And I do realize that the trash thrown outside is from tenants that might be used to living like that) Haven’t you wondered why there have been so many move outs?? Again, Management and The maintenance team here are visible and working ALL the time!! If I saw them slacking or just hanging out EVER, I’d be blaming Them. … But they’re not, so they can’t be held accountable! You’re lucky to have them! The ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ are for THEM! "This was a very unprofessional experience! When you first move in everyone is so nice but then, you have to go in and speak to someone because the phone no longer works. Because of my roommate we had to deal with the financial department and that is the rudest experience, the person John called me and started off in a neutral tone and when I did not agree with him he got loud and rude and hung on me twice and the supervisor Derrick Griffin was no better. I told him the situation and he acted like that was normal. (They were friends). The apts. are ghetto, the neighbors are nosey and Watch everything like you are under surveillance. I could not wait until my lease was up. I am still fighting them for something they know is not right!"

"The apartment inside is ok the carpet dirty, they give you warning for everything outside, even how you parking your car, but the land so nasty if you see the pictures don't let me lie to you. I was thinking because is at the villages is going to be a lot better but not, lake Harris apartment espring lake cove apartments are old but really clean and they don't bother you like on this apartment, I am very disappointed about this apartment. And we only need internet but they make you to have cablebecause this is the packet they don't have options."
