The Landings at Cypress Meadows

"Lived here for 3 years. The roaches were a probably the entire time. We had to throw out our air fryer and other things bc the roaches got inside of them. Pest control does nothing. Unless you request pest control they won’t come by. If you aren’t home they will go in and walk right back out without spraying. Maintenance didn’t actually fix anything. Half the entire kitchen outlets blew they came by “fixed” it and an hour later I realize the refrigerator isn’t working bc the outlet wasnt actually fixed so I had to move the fridge to a working one. Maintenance also entered my apartment without announcing themselves while I was getting ready for work and without being requested. The a/c unit leaked constantly for the whole 3 years made multiple service request and was told “it’s just humid” never fixed it and suffered water damage to the closet, the hallways wall and flooring, soaked through to the dining room damaging the wall and floor, soaked through to my bedroom causing water damage to my furniture and the wall. Upon move out we are now being charged an outrageous amount for damages and cleaning so we will be paying that off longer than we actually lived there for since we can’t afford an attorney. Worst experience I’ve ever had and that wasn’t even everything. There were was a stabbing and a shooting at separate occasions in the neighboring buildings."

"Leasing office staff are very helpful. The new property manager actually care about this property . I had a friend the use to live here and these property was not good taken care of. Into now . I love it here ."

"If you like roaches and bad pest control this is the place for you. Upon getting the key and arriving day 1 moving in we discovered a horde of roaches living behind our refrigerator and getting stuck in a contract we already signed. Not to mention it smelled like the people who lived on the apartment before us only left 10yrs ago. Even complaining about the pest situation they brought out pest control who did a terrible job completely they did nothing to help the situation. The maintenance staff also came in and performed maintenance on the apartment but left the key in the door after leaving, giving it access to the whole world to my apartment. In the process of that he dropped acid pellets around the apartment and ruined belongings in the process. We complained to the leasing office and the suggestion they handed out was to inform renters insurance rather than fixing the problem they caused. BE AWARE!!!"

"Don’t ever sign a lease here. They tried to steal over $2000 from us, but we had to fight it. Even took it up with one of the presidents of Garden Communities and they told us we STILL owed them money, but never provided any proof of damages or anything. They’re liars, and fraudulent, don’t expect to see your deposit back no matter how good a tenant you were. Also get comfortable with the roaches too, they never go away! After they transitioned to new management this place has fallen apart, I’d never recommend again."
