"Lived here for three years. Never missed a payment and took great care of the home. After several inspections during the move out inspection the only issue found was a damaged blind in one bedroom and was billed 16.00. No big deal. Paid on the spot and assumed our acct was settled. After PCS/moving out in mid July 2023 they billed 125.00 for a vinyl patch in the utility room. They have my email address, new mailing address on another military base, and phone number. Instead of following up with me about this new charge they sent it straight to collections around Sept/Oct 2023. A simple phone call to me could have settled this. I have perfect credit and have never missed a payment on anything in my life. I could go on about the maintenance and customer support but you can read the other reviews for that. Avoid this company. 18 OCT 2023 Update - Received a call from one of the friendly Directors there at Balfour Beatty / NAS Pensacola Homes. They sure found my number quickly after this Google review. They said their policy is to report to collections after 10 days and asked if they could do anything to fix it. She was very nice over the phone but unfortunately the damage is done and my review stands."

"If I could give zero starts I might. We are current residents and have only lived in his housing for a few months. We moved from other base housing at another military installation that was far superior to this in both management, maintenance, quality, community and professionalism. We are fortunate that we will not be here long and can move on to a better place to live in the area. For the amount of rent they charge (your full BAH), the quality is atrocious. Smells like mildew in the bathroom cabinets, paint smudges and rips off the wall with the lightest touch, the backyards are full of pests (not just normal routine bugs you'd expect). The quality of materials used in the bathrooms and kitchens are questionable as to if they are even food safe. Ex. I have peeled and orange on a paper towel that was placed on the counter before and the juice from the orange on the paper towel we enough that it pulled up a fragment of paint off the counter tops. I can only imagine that it could end up in your food. The towel rack fell completely off the wall and ripped the dry wall our FIRST day using it upon move-in. 3 months ago and they still haven't come to repair the drywall. If you're looking for housing when stationed at NAS Pensacola, really really look elsewhere. This is not it."

"DON’T DO IT! I live in the housing located on NAS Pensacola for E-6 and below (Lighthouse Terrance) and it one of the worse places I’ve ever lived. Upon receiving orders to NAS Pensacola the BAH for Pensacola wasn’t enough to afford a decent place out in town. So I decided to move my family and I into base housing. Bad decision. I wasn’t told about the addendum you have to sign about the mold, asbestos, and lead based paint until after I agreed to the lease. The solution to the lead base paint was the slapping plastic siding over it. “All the asbestos was removed” but because their was asbestos at one point and could possibly be some left you have to sign one to be aware that their was asbestos at one point. It really gives you that warm and fuzzy about your soon to be home. Fast forward 6 month and we are finally receiving a BAH increase from $1750 to $2118 for E6 to match the current market rate BUT now base housing is also raising your rent to that new BAH. So now I get to pay $2118 for a 1367 sq foot home with no garage. It just isn’t right. Even with a 30 day notice I can’t break my lease with base housing unless I pay a penalty of one months rent (even with the rent being increased). I understand paying for any damages as well as a prorated payment for that month if you move out in the middle of month. But this is just ridiculous . I regret my decision moving into base housing everyday."
