Red Roof Inn Chipley,

"The hotel room was better than most red roofs but there was no mini fridge and I didn't notice it til later unfortunately. However, that should be addressed upon checking in. They had ice inside the office, but you have to ask for it. Friendly people there. Nice dog walk area here. No poop bags in pet station though"

"Clerk was really nice and room looked clean until we checked the pillows. OMG.....they were filthy with mold, yellow, and blood stains. We requested new pillows and they didn't have any. Unbelievable!!!!"

"Stayed in room 103. "NON Smoking" immediately upon entering the room i could smell the residue of smoke. Which immediately made my asthma start acting up. After the coughing fit subsided, I decided to go and take a shower. Noticed the water wasn't draining very well at all. So I decided to go fishing in the drain, and only after about 20 seconds I caught a big one!!! For size reference. This was about the size of two tennis balls side by side. The front desk did offer to change my room. Which was a nice suggestion. But I didn't want to know what other drains may have after I already cleaned this one. The floors felt "greasy" and slippery as if they were just mopped or truly had some kind of greasy residue left on them. My daughter kept slipping on the floor haha. The room was comfortable though for the price. Would I say here again. Ya sure. As long as I get the same room since I already cleaned the shower. Haha."

"On or around March 16, 2023, we stayed in the circled room. We arrived late in the night. Really late, but before midnight of the next day. Upon entering the room, the renovations could instantly be seen, which was nice because we were tired. After settling our dog and bringing up our luggage, as we went through the room we found that old materials were being used. Our dog acted funny and would not relax. As the room A/C unit worked it seemed to make the room humid. That is when the bed sheets begin showing black dots/stains. I eliminated all but one towel and face towel that did not have either stains or hairs on them. At this point I had resigned myself to sleeping in my clothes on areas that appreared clean. It was late and we knew the most that would happen would be that we would get a put into another room. We needed to leave in under 5 hours so we dealt with our environment. As the shower worked, the number of stains on the unused towels grew and some stains turned black. The shower curtain, that initially look cleaned, begain turning colors along with certain areas on the shower wall and in the bathroom. The attached images will show other issues with the room. We contacted Red Roof Inn about how the renovations looked great, the location was using old materials of sheets, towels, and pillows. At least in the room we were in. We received a canned response that it would be looked into, but so that no one has to experience what we had, at the very least, do not stay in the circled room. The night person who gave us the room was prompt when we arrived, they simply should have verified that, that particular room should have been rented out. There were definitely other empty rooms."

"Was pleasantly surprised about this motel. Room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable and my dog stayed free (19lb pug). Well definitely come back here when I'm in town again."
