"Loved the dentist his wife who ran it was a horrible unhappy person. So glad don’t have to see her anymore. Dr Parker you were always great but she should have not been there, horrible attitude."
"I went to Dr Parker because of a newspaper article last year giving him a " favorite" dentist in Ocala, Fl.. The office staff is VERY friendly, sometimes overly so, the Dr. seemed nice. A problem with the doctor was the first time he had to inject novocaine he apparently broke through a blood vessel. And the left side of my face underneath my eye to my chin apparently bled slowly during the night because the next morning when I woke up I had a big bruise. It was so bad that after the first time I went out and people stared at me, I did not go out for several days. It looked as if I had been punched in the face. After I went to the physician to show him, he said just apply ice to it, his tech told me he felt very bad about it but what could I do? I was reluctant to go back to have another tooth fixed but I figured that was just an accident the first time but then when I had my tooth filled two weeks ago, two of the injections given in the side in the back of my mouth left me with pain trying to open my mouth and I had swelling for 4 or 5 days afterwards. I iced it as often as I could and then applied heat because that is what I was told to do when I called the dentist office to ask what else I could do. I can feel a small lump where the top jaw & bottom jaws come together. After work yesterday I decided to run over to him to see maybe I could have an X-ray done or let him look at it.. I know I had no appointment but I figured it would be five minutes of his time, Well, the first tech who came in tried to convince me he gave injections on the other side of my mouth and I said "oh no, I know where he gave me the injections because that's where it hurts now." The second tech came in and told me that an x-ray would not show the area where I had the pain coming from (in the jaw bone)and he was busy with other patients. I said all I need is a few minutes of his time just to let him feel what I feel with my hand. I was there for over an hour and a half waiting for him and he never showed his face. I had to leave as it was getting dark and I am not comfortable and should not drive when it's dark out. My husband is a retired physician and I know because I've worked with him, that he would never do that to a patient of his. If they came in without an appointment with a problem he would take a few minutes just to check on them and say hello. I felt this dentist is not one I want to go back and see he seems to have no concern for his patients. I could never trust him giving me novocaine anymore. They also ask you now to pay before you have some procedure done, my husband said he felt so insulted."
"I had my first initial visit today. The staff were really welcoming and were in great moods. Dr. Parker did the most in depth dental exam I've ever had. I would recommend him to any one I know that wants convenient appointment times, great service, and great accessibility. Thanks!"
"I have had several claims filed to dental insurance company for work not performed or for dupicate work -documented by insurance company and rejected. You will get many calls from the office reminding of office visits to the point of harassment. Parker coughs a lot he should have that checked out. He avoids talking to you directly about your dental work plan and will only whisper to the assistant. Very strange secret behavior. If you go there keep track of your payments they have sloppy bookkeeping. Not the worst dentist as work actually needed is acceptable. I have the impression the large staff he has on payroll forces him to over extend. Back office run by Ms Parker i think gets a charge jacking up the bills."
"I felt like I moved into the 21st century after my prrvious experiences in the Chicago area. The assistants and support staff are well trained. The office used state of the art xray digital equipment (low radiation). They were able to discover a cracked root and an issue with a poor filling. Dr. Parker also put porcelain caps over my 2 front teeth and he took the time to do a perfect job. He is obviously a perfectionist. I had the work done while visiting my 95 year old mother. I will have Dr. Parker as my dentist in the future ant travel to Florida as needed. I could not be happier with his service."
