"I trust that this review finds you well. I wanted to share some thoughts on the recent events that surrounded my recent dental appointments and concerning discrepancies in the information provided. The confirmation with my insurance provider, it was established that my dental coverage does cover two cleanings without specific timeframes annually, which contrast the information relayed by your office. Consequently, the inaccurate information from Brittany's text message of booking an appointment a week too early (appointment given by the Hygienist in June) and the out of pocket charge was a concern less than 24 hours of an appointment. I did abide by the option of recommendation of Brittany's text message to call the office. I wasn't sure if there were any additional cancellation fees. I don't find discussing payments via text is appropriate with all the scams now days. I was informed that it was the patient responsibility to know their insurance via text, so I acted accordingly. I verified with the insurance company via computer and called first thing in the morning to the above findings. I'm disappointed in the handling of the situation. The lack of clarity in my June visit, particularly in the differing opinions from the hygienist and Dr. Yee, left me feeling unsettled. Despite the recommendation from the scheduler and or the hygienist of booking a filling appointment, the ongoing confusion persisted as there was no effort from either party (scheduler and or hygienist) to seek clarification from Dr. Yee, leaving me uncertain for the past 6 months of who was right. After receiving and reviewing my own charts yesterday, the tooth was to be watched per. Additionally, I found it unusual for the office to prioritize communication with my husband, which seemed unconventional management strategy. A simple clarification and or investigation about the insurance coverage (covered per my insurance company.) versus out of pocket charge per office , coupled with the concern of tooth incident in June, would have alleviated and diffused the situation quickly. That's what I was seeking. ( I didn't have access to my chart at this time) The handling of these matters had lost trust in the in the office. The miscommunication about a payment (I verified through my insurance company), alongside the lingering confusion from my prior visit, had eroded the confidence I once had in the practice. It's disheartening to be in a position where trust and transparency, especially regarding my dental care, seem lacking. Given the confirmation from my insurance company, I found it difficult to regain confidence in the office before my conversation with Amie took place. Considering the prior knowledge of defense management style based of review responses by the office, I attended to test her management skills. The evident lacked the accountability, combined with the inability to address concerns effectively, reinforces my agreement with Amie's statement that "this dental office is not the right fit for me." No, I will not be back for any emergencies out of pocket only. I wanted to emphasize that my personal experiences may not reflect what others might encounter. It simply didn't align with what I needed in terms of trust and honesty of a dental office. I would like to express my gratitude for my cleanings from 2020-2022. That's why I gave 2 stars. I'm sure the office reply will be what's best for business."

My hygienist Hannah was so great, kind, gentle, and thorough. And of course Dr. Yee was very personable and thorough as well. I look forward to seeing them again soon."

"Great experience the entire appointment. The dental hygienist was lovely and great at explaining everything. The doctor was welcoming and direct about previous care I had received prior to becoming his patient. Even the receptionist was great to interact with and set expectations with future appointments, insurance, etc. It's hard to find a dental private practice nowadays and not a corporate one. Will continue to share my great experience to friends and family."
